Absolutely crazy how my list has changed just since June. My rankings at this point are chaos. I can't keep up with the fluctuation: My new rankings after this weekend 1. Usyk (the elite of the elite, the actual undisputed champion) 2. Fury (might be finished at the top but he probably beats the majority of the top 10, best "recent" win don't shine as bright anymore) 3. Parker (The Cinderella Man, but for how long) 4. Zhang (Top 5) 5. Daniel Dubois (can't deny he's top 5 at this point) 6. Kabayel (solid poised for a run) 7. Bakole (solid poised for a run) 8. Hrgovic (precarious) 9. Joshua (the ceiling is there) 10. Chisora (amazingly) Wilder is officially gone (long time coming TBH), Joyce is officially gone. Nuts that Chisora is at the literal end of his career and realistically in the top 10.
Yeah but he still beat Zhang. Knockdowns don't win fights otherwise you wouldn't have Fury ranked very high either. Kabayel hasn't got any better wins than Parker and Anderson hasn't beaten anyone of note at all. Just seems odd you'd rate them higher than the man who beat Zhang.
Joyce Pulev Washington Takan Szpilka Johnson (at the time) Price Pala Gerber Scott Sexton Williams Also, many thought he won: Parker I Whyte I Hellenius A very well-respcted guy.
Zhang KO'd Joyce 2X and Ko'd Wilder - Parker has improved and had 2 good decision wins one Wilder and one Zhang but Parker was KO'd by Joyce and for me Zhang more impressive with his wins, also some fights that could have gone either way is often passed over. I thought Vianello should have at least gotten a draw vs Efe Ajagba. While I appreciate Parker always being in condition and consistently learning his trade, I don't see him in top 5, however his next big fight will decide if he gets a title shot. He may be able to survive and beat Dubois who is beatable. Usyk has been dominant, but Fury vs Usyk 2 could give us another jolt.
He needed brit stoppages against Gerber and Pala after they both had him running for his life. Pulev was over 40 and it was a split decision.Takam was also over 40.
