    Again, because Machen didn't want Sonny to know that his dirty tactic worked, like Machen explained.

    But hey, Liston fans would find any reason to make Machen's opinion not valid.

    So what you are saying is that the condition that had Muhammad Ali in absolute agony,so much
    so that Ali was begging Angelo Dundee to take his gloves off,had no visible effect on Machen.
    According to you Machen was magically able to ignore the same condition that had Ali squirming
    in agony and begging Dundee to call the fight off ?
    Well we've established that Machen was a liar but I still haven't confirmed whether you are incredibly
    naive or you are trolling ?

    Again maybe Ali was more hurt than Machen who was trying to hide the best way possible while Ali did not because he wanna expose Liston dirty tactics and buy time to regain his vision.
    Also Machen was not a liar, he was extremely accurate man and things I have seen he said about many things were 100 percent accurate.
    Also Machen gave Liston helluva fight which drives Liston fans crazy because he was also a small guy using wrestling tactic and boxing to tire Liston.

    It is not, it is very valid argument.

    Your best argument to this was calling Machen a liar and ignore that Ali and Folley complained.

    There is irrefutable evidence that Machen is lying.Just look at the fights between Liston and Machen and
    between Liston and Ali.Observe the extreme discomfort shown by Ali and the total non-reaction of Machen
    during their respective fights againstt Sonny.
