There is no need for him to give Fury a rematch after he whooped him. Usyk can just retire or pull out

Usyk won't pull out of a rematch. It's still a very winnable fight for him.

He's got no reason to pull out of the rematch. He won the first fight and can definitely win the rematch and plus, money and stuff.

Three interviews back Usyk said he intended to fight another three years.

Two interviews back he said that everything is still on the table, boxing and otherwise.

An interview back he said he wanted only Fury and Joshua again.

Saturday night, he said he will fight Fury and think about fighting Dubois after family time. Also said he has begun hard training for Fury.

At no point has he discussed retirement before Fury.

Exactly, it's not like Lewis vs Vitali where people feel he lucked out in his win, Usyk is the favorite to win again so why the hell not?

He's going to slap Greedy Belly hard this time. He knows what Fury brings to the table now.

Usyk will probably win again. He is 1000% disciplined. You can’t outwork him.

Nah Usyk will be there. If anyone stops the fight from happening it will be Fury.

What possible reason would Usyk (or Fury) have to avoid the rematch?

There's a lot of money on the line here.

Huh? Where is this idea even come from? Why would he pull out? Not only will it be the biggest payday of his career but he comprehensively beat Fury in May. I also think that he wants to make a statement by knocking Fury out in the rematch. He knows he can hurt him bad, because he did in May and Fury still tries to gaslight gullible people who have zero understanding of boxing with this “Usyk got the nod because of the war in his country” and “Usyk won only three rounds” nonsense. Usyk never had the tendency to pull out of fights and if there’s one fight he would definitely not pull out of it’s the Fury rematch.

For Usyk, there are none. For Fury, there are several. If he loses again, he can’t push the narrative that Usyk got a gift victory over him out of pity. He also can’t claim to be the best of the era (or ever) with two losses. Losing a big payday isn’t a concern when you factor in that Fury has already made generational wealth, and the consequences of losing to a “middleweight” again would be far worse in terms of long-term earning potential than losing a single big payday.

Right now, there are still many gimmick fights he could sign up for if he “retires” without fighting Usyk again. These could earn him several times more than he would from the Usyk rematch (especially since, if memory serves, the purse split is now reversed, with Usyk getting the lion’s share of the money), without the added risk that his status and legacy would suffer further from another defeat. We are talking about a man who put his Tom Schwarz fight and Chisora trilogy on pay-per-view. It took two years and numerous external factors (a huge payday, Usyk’s apparent vulnerability to body punches, his terrible showing against Ngannou, and the subsequent public backlash) to literally drag him into the ring kicking and screaming.

Fury has always been very cautious in managing his career, despite all his talk of being the “ultimate Gypsy warrior who faces any man born of his mother.” The Usyk rematch poses many threats with long-term financial and career consequences, which Fury may very well decide are too great to risk. Given how he still maintains the delusion that he “easily won the first fight nine rounds to three” and has visibly ballooned up again, I fully expect him not to go ahead with the rematch. I hope I’m wrong, but right now, I’m fairly certain he will pull out.

I'm not seeing any of it. Fury already lost to Usyk. He has nothing to lose now. Nothing to lose, except... lots and lots of money. To reiterate:

There's a lot of money on the line here.
