Nobody should rate that powderpuff arm puncher.

I don't think so. I have watched a lot of his fights, more than 20. Including against low level opponents. And his only other highlights reels KO I can remember of came against shot cruiserweight Rob Calloway. Even glass-jawed Zuri Lawrence Rahman landed everything and kitchen sink on him, but Zuri was still stopped standing while Calvin Brock laid out younger version of Zuri cold for several minutes with a single shot.

Bonecrusher smith. Yes I know he DID hit hard but a lot of guys with shaky chins survived him

He laid out Bruno though and Frank himself said Smith hit significantly harder than Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson

Meh I’m not convinced. Yes I know he hit hard. That isn’t my argument. It took a huge flurry with Bruno up against the ropes to stop him. It was a good performance but when Marvis Frazier can rise off the canvas to go on and beat ya, your power isn’t God-Like

Things worse than that happen with almost every big puncher. Lewis, for example, couldn't drop or even hurt Levi Billups in 10 rounds. The same Billups, who was KOed in 51 seconds by Orlin Norris and dropped hard by Chris Byrd. And Frazier was clearly superior to Billups skill wise while Smith was clearly inferior to Lewis skill wise

Maybe it was more thudding, like Foreman, but the guy one spotted Lewis and dropped Tua.

    These bodyshots hurt to watch:

Tua wasn't hurt the slightest there. He was clearly off balance, it's like James Toney knockdown against Samuel Peter.

As for Lewis KO, it's just a reminder that in heavyweight you can get knocked out with a single punch if your chin isn't granite

GGG was a very hard puncher more in the Marvin Hagler power range than Julian Jackson, Mugabi, McClellan, RJJ type. GGG had extremely strong and hard hands that allowed him to hit fighters on top of the head without breaking his hands and he had near perfect balance and a chin equal to Hagler if not stronger, the right hand Canelo landed would have knocked out other middleweights didn't phase him.

I would agree Mugabi, tho a very big puncher was a little overrated power wise.

I agree. It was the Witherspoon ko 1 fight that had some comparing him to the big punchers.
Yes he ko d Bruno, but Frank was going for a ko and got caught, then it took a load of shots to put him down.

Yeah Marvis Frazier, Adilson Rodriguez and Tony Tubbs survived his best shots. And those guys weren’t exactly known as being iron Chinned
