    Both were totally humiliating.

Not sure there's a winner. It's like comparing ugly sisters.

Some of AJ's fans and 'experts' should be a bit embarrassed by how many times they were suckered into the AJ hype though. No excuse in 2024 to be believing the hype. Just brainless adulation and 'dick riding' for the most part.

In my opinion AJ is still in his prime and Saturday he was dismantled like few prime HW champions were. Remember me of Foreman vs Frazier. But Frazier wasn't KOed and for his defence it was a really poor stylistic matchup as you all agree.

Dubois might go on to be a very good champion.
Ruiz is unlikely to become a champion again.

    Ruiz.

against Dubois, a lot of people make fun of him having his ass in the air, but he legitematelt was trying his damnest to get up, and I have to respect that. Against Ruiz he quit , he legitimatelty for iced here but he still tried to get up

Dubois, because he was supposed to be rejuvenated and heading back towards the top and was completely bounced up and down and all around the ring for all 5 rounds.

Fat Andy he was ahead until he got zonked, then still gave a decent accounting until getting zonked again, and again. He looked like he belonged in the ring with Andy, he looked like he was a deer in the headlights against Dubois

Why are heavyweight losses deemed embarrassing? He's 35, past his prime and fighting a rejuvenated 27 year old with a solid chin and good power.
Tank losing to Lamont Roach - that would be embarrassing.

Ruiz is easily the worse loss. Took the fight on short notice and was a huge underdog never expected to achieve anything in his career whereas Dubois has always a bit of expectation around him and is known to be a murderous puncher.

London isn't Joshua's home town btw. He's from Watford.

According to all bookies this was a BIG UPSET.
Folks counted DDD as a no way to win quitter and I’m glad he stayed on the front foot from the opening bell 90 percent of the time

    Dubois in my books.

In the Ruiz fight Joshua got reckless trying to finish Ruiz and got countered with a big shot and never recovered from it. Before that, as far as i remember, AJ looked more or less in control; and he did win the rematch comfortably.

Dubois completely dominated and outclassed him. AJ didn't control the fight from the very beginning, didn't know how to defend himself, his foot work was non-existent. Embarrassing is not the word I would use, but this fight is certainly the biggest blow to his legacy.

Definitely Ruiz for me. Dubois beats Ruiz if they ever fought too so Ruiz would be the answer

The Ruiz loss was the most embarrassing loss of all time, possibly barring a few fights which were highly politically charged before the world wars.

Ruiz has fought only 3 times in the five years after Joshua II. Dubois fought 4 times in the past year.

Amazing, really. Losing to a fat, undisciplined, unmotivated journeyman is 10 times worse that losing to an active, well trained guy who is motivated to gain back respect from the boxing community.
