George would have to channel his inner Kevin Lerena to stand even an outside chance against the mighty Dubois.

And yet, despite being less "technically" skilled than some of those fighters, Foreman could potentially knock out every single one of them.

I'd bet my entire salary on him KOing Moore, Schmeling, Marciano, Walcott, Sharkey, Charles, and Dempsey.

 

Potentially anyone can knockout anyone but I think the most likely scenario in this theoretical is you're one salary poorer…

7-6 slight edge Foreman.

This would be a tense matchup. For each category, I'm not necessarily saying one fighter has a huge advantage over the other in that category, just that it's something noticeable. In regards to power, I think Foreman hits a tad harder and is more proven (Joshua is a bit past his prime and has always had big question marks around the quality of hsi chin, Miller was a late round stoppage where he just stood there letting Dubois fire). Foreman's chin/heart is also much more proven as he could survive hits from Frazier, Chuvalo, Lyle, etc. Dubois was wilting under the pressure of Usyk (who isn't very powerful) and was also broken down by Joyce.

Dubois brings to the table better overall technique, speed, and stamina, but he would not be sticking and moving or fighting on the backfoot. This would become a war at ring center. The open stance you criticize Foreman for would be something he could use to stuff and party Dubois jab and hooks. It also allows Foreman to return fire with looping shots that are unexpected.

Overall, I think we still need to see more from Dubois. He has been on fire lately and I'm very impressed, but let's not forget the quality of the opposition so far. Miller was a 3x drug cheat whose constantly obese and has a very thin resume. Hrgovic was a talented, prime fighter but pretty unproven and basically a prospect. The Joshua KO is impressive because of his name recognition mostly, this isn't the same Joshua who was tearing through the division 8 years ago bludgeoning people with his strong combinations.

I do think if Dubois manages to make it to the late rounds, things could get interesting and he could possibly even win a decision or stoppage, but I just don't have a ton of confidence in Dubois' chin surviving a fire fight with Foreman right now. He still has some defensive holes he needs to improve.

 

Against the boxers I mentioned...? Absolutely not. Foreman steamrolls them.

Do they have the chin to survive Foreman's bombs? Probably not. Some of them were KOd by men who were smaller, had inferior power, and were less skilled than Foreman was.

 

I’m not going to spend all afternoon breaking down the careers, fights, skills etc of seven fighters… Sorry Glass It’s a tall ask, In the situation you purposed with GF playing roulette with that many genuinely great fighters whilst being unproven at that level of boxing ability? is just a bad bet, I didn’t think about the bouts or say who’d win in any I don’t care - I was asked for fighters who were technically superior, the mentioned fighters are a LOT better in that regard.
