Not H2H, but achievements across the board, belts won in weight divisions, quality and quantity of defences etc, best wins. 1: 2: 3: 4: Mine is 1: Duran 2: Hearns 3: Leonard 4: Hagler
Surprised to see Hearns so highly already since he's the fourth ranked in most of the lists I read (and mine too but props because there's nothin' wrong, especially compared to those giants.) Duran: Mf really started from lightweight. Leonard: He defeated the others, as simply it is, not sure how to count the W against Hagler since he didn't give him a rematch and the whole conditions, but I love Leonard basely on that. Hagler: Consistent defenses against a hot division, I loved his ambition and he was a mean mf. Hearns: His chin and defense could let him down and despite the latter being almost on purpose to go straight to the KO. Obv going from Welter to light-heavy was no joke either and he competed to Cruiser too in the latter parts of his career. Think he could be up tho for the pure excitement factor? The Kronk right hands are my fav I swear I'm always fascinated by the fab4 and dis list could change in few months, who knows lmao.
I'm going to say Hagler because of the combination of power and durability for me thats the most important thing when rating elite fighters. But Leonards won the H2H beat the whole group and fought them more often. Hearns is the biggest one and was LHW champ(the real one) so hes both the best and the worst in his own way. While he might be the worst P4P he would have the best chance at HW. I rate Duran last because I do not follow anything below 140 and H2H hes 1-5 against this group and Beneitz. Someone like Manny did more damage at the higher weight classes even if Duran climbed one level higher and beat Barkley who was LHW champ. Guys climbing from 135 to 160 is not unheard of. Its really 2 weight classes not 4.
It’s purely, purely based on accomplishments. I can’t see any case for Durán running dead last. I’m shocked enough to see some people placing Hearns over Leonard, given the criteria.
