And what do you think the end result will be once the dust is completely settled and Joshua is retired for a bit?

Here's a highlights package of a young Bruno for anyone looking to refresh their memories or see what Bruno was all about.

Interesting note, Joshua seems to have a serious vulnerability to a heavy jab. I think there are enough similarities between the two fighters that something like that would actually see me favor Bruno H2H in their respective primes.

Bruno fought in tougher times. Boxers in the 80s and early 90s get overlooked, but some slick operators then compared to now, which are mainly big lumps with less fundamentals

Joshua obviously has had a better career due to fighting in a terrible era against old men, but I would pick bruno to do him

Joshua achieved much more and would have achieved more in Bruno's era than Bruno achieved...

I doubt it Joshua wouldn't of beaten any of the world champions that Bruno had to face Witherspoon, Tyson, Lewis.

And a green Joshua could definitely lose to Bonecrusher who was a fast starter and a big puncher with a sturdy chin.

Yes but that's because one guy had an easier opportunity to win a belt.

Joshua had to fight Charles Martin and then Andy Ruiz who he lost to in a shocking upset.

They're not exactly Witherspoon, Lewis, Tyson.

Joshua was actually considered the # 1 HW for a couple years. I don't think Bruno was ever tagged as the "money guy" or the "status" guy. Joshua's career still shines a bit brighter.

Similar levels. Manufactured fighters. Stiff and basic. Could pack the crowds in. Nice physiques. Good hard punchers.

OMG HE LOST AND GOT IT BACK THAT MAKES HIM BETTER THAN KEEPING THE BELT FOR A LONGER TIME! BECAUSE HE'S ONLY LE 1 TIME CHAMP!

Joshua could outpoint McCall but McCall has a right hand that could put Joshua in serious trouble. McCall has knocked out big Super Heavyweights like Lewis, Akinwande.

Joshua wouldn't be able to stop McCall so that makes him a live threat.

Bruno fought in a much tougher era with much better champions.

Joshua is only 2x champion because he beat Charles Martin for a vacant paper belt, and a completely unfit Andy Ruiz to win back belts that he never should have lost in the first place.

Absolute joke. Joshua would have been easily chinned in that area.
