Would Andre Ward have stopped AJ?

Ward is the far superior boxer but AJ too big. Weight classes are there for a reason.

Yep exactly this. Ward was a great boxer but he couldn't even stop some bums at 168 and 175.

Come on now, i am sure Ward would be able to land harder punches on AJ than the ones Wlad did. After all, Ward had comparable power to Wlad and a lot more skill.

 

I can't think of a more annoying "analyst" than Ward. The guy claimed Usyk was too small for Fury after Usyk had beaten Joshua. Yet he thinks he could have fought AJ. Jesus. Shows you how decent fighters don't always make good analysts. And yes, i said decent. Not great. Take away Ward's dirty tactics and hometown judging and you have a decent fighter, not an ATG like Usyk to whom he can't hold a candle too.
