Holmes, Shavers, Ali and other great of the past would beat easily Joshua, Wilder and Fury.

If you notice, Joshua and Holmes, after being hit respectively by Dubois and Shavers, assumed the exact same position on the canvas with their head resting on their arm, practically the position of someone who has been put to sleep. The difference is that Holmes got up immediately and he looked only a little bit rocked, Joshua instead slept for a couple of seconds after which he tried in vain to get up. Joshua was hit by a short cross from Dubois to the chin, Holmes was hit by one of the most terrifying overhands ever landed in boxing history by a HW: Shavers. I don't want to imagine if Joshua had been hit by Shavers instead of Dubois. I think he would be in a hospital bed in the intensive care unit now.

This proves that when the greats of the past say that they would destroy today's HWs like Joshua, Wilder and Fury they dont say that for pride, they are simply right.

Joshua walking onto Holmes jab non stop for 6 rounds then going back and telling his corner that Holmes is s**t would be funny.

Holmes would beat Joshua, that's for sure, he would beat Wilder even easier and Fury with some difficulty, the same goes for Ali, but Shavers wouldn't beat any of the three...

I think instead Shavers could KO all them within 5 rounds. He dropped Holmes, he badly rocked Ali and destroy Norton worse than Foreman.

Shavers really ! Ali and Holmes are legit ATG, Shavers however has lost to far lesser fighters than Joshua Wilder and Fury.

Shavers wouldn't beat any of them. What was his best win? Jimmy Young?

Ali and Holmes, yes, for sure. I'd love to have seen Shavers pop Fury in the nose like Usyk did.

Each one of them had trickier fights against inferior opposition. Beat? Sure. But Joshua and Fury in particular are questions to be solved, not tomato cans to be opened. Usyk fights are a good display of that.

Wilder do be bum in comparison to the punchers both Ali (Liston, Foreman, Shavers, Lyle, Foster, Williams, plush hard and skilled crackers the like of Frazier, Norton, Quarry, Ellis, Bonavena) and Holmes (Shavers x2, Cooney, Smith, Witherspoon, and the likes of Mercer and McCall as an old man) faced.

Beating Young in certain years is a fantastic win. Norton probably beat the best version possible entering the ring after wins over Lyle and a somewhat faded Foreman, ranked as a top 5 contender for some years in a row as were they when he beat them. That's be equivalent of beating a fighter who disposed of say Zhang and Kabayel, or Dubois and Parker, arguably a good deal better.

Earnie beat a green James still trying to play the tough Philly game though. Shavers best wins are probably '73 fading Ellis, and the ghost of Kenny Norton.

Nope. Fury has never been stopped merely delayed. Fury is inevitable. The prophecy must be fulfilled.
