Just how much do y'all blame and consider responsible AJ corner for the DD disastrous performance?

It was a shyte advise, but AJ is a 12 year pro, two time unified heavyweight title holder and a gold medallist. He should know how to defend himself while throwing punches. Only he's to blame for that terrible defence that led to his demise.

Yeah but his trainers gave him roll the dice and uppercut talk in the corner basically saying go out there and take risks then specifically told him to throw the riskiest punch in boxing Wtf

He might have succeeded if he kept his hands up.

    Not so much
He seems to have problems with the pressure Dubois put on him and was unable to keep the distance and fight on the back foot. Dubois would have caught him anyway, just sooner or later

Realistically the advice Fury gets every fight from 'Sugar Hill' is worse, to go get the KO with his (not so big) RH. It's almost got Fury KO'd twice now. At least AJ did win the Wlad fight with a 'roll the dice' uppercut.

Peter Fury's advice to Tyson in the Wlad fight was worse also. Last round, Fury up on the cards, he tells him to go and finish Wlad and Fury was lucky not to get dropped by the clean RH Wlad landed in on his head in the corner.

Here's some more terrible corner advice Fury had. Freddy Roach told him he might be the puncher in the Wilder fight and wanted him to be aggressive. That almost got him KO'd in the final round.

Fury has had some of the worst trainers and worst advice of any top fighters. It's just that he's way better than AJ.

Aj doesn't have great fight I.q
He has great physical tools and has shown he can follow instructions. However, a fighter as seasoned shouldn't be dropping the guard and should be able to adapt better

I think Aj and his team knew what was coming. They didn't look right prior

Was he getting bear up in sparring?
Was he bricking it, as it was his first real test since usyk with such expectation?

Maybe he has lost the desire, or at least not as hungry as before. His pride is making him continue

It's easy to blame Ben,but Aj is much more experienced than Dubois and it wasn't the corner that cost him

Imo he lost that fight before it began.
I can't stand him, but let's see what he can bring next. If it was nerves? Then maybe he will do better with less expectation

If he is shot? He will get knocked out again soon

Tbf, they weren't sure if they were up on the cards. They were fighting in Klitschko's backyard and the fight was so dull, they didn't know Fury will get the decision.

For a fighter with an Olympic medal and a dozen world title fights under his belt, AJ’s ring IQ is **** poor. He’s insecure and constantly in need of reassurance from seemingly everyone. The mistakes he made against Dubois were amateurish and not under the instruction of his corner. Roll the dice and throw the uppercut (which he landed well ealier in the fight) would’ve been good advice to a fighter who understood when and from where to time it. AJ had some success, got greedy as with Ruiz and walked onto one… he’s just a dumb guy playing the pseudo intellectual deep thinker

only a few rare fighters can adapt on the fly during a bout never mind after being hurt.

That's what seperates the true greats. Overcoming adversity, adaptability and having a large corey.

Joshua's defence was terrible from the openning bell.

Left hand low. Head in the air. Retreating straight back.

To be honest, not at all. He kept his guard down from the first second. He made a crucial error in trying to knock Dubois out and rushed in without care. He kept rushing the action even after Dubois countered him with a heavy shot. There’s not much a corner can do about these things; there’s only so much you can say to your fighter in between rounds. Joshua has always been a guy who panics when he is hurt, and he has never been great at adapting to unexpected situations in the ring. Also, Dubois was just a bad matchup for him.

These factors just added up and were too much for him to handle. Nothing could have saved him from losing that fight.
