Following up the Dubois pick with another that probably goes against the grain! I think most at least on this forum still favour Artur, and I flip-flop on this hourly! May the best man win and we get a great fight!
Quality video as usual. I hope everyone picking Bivol is right. I just fear that Beterbiev is too strong to keep off without huge power. One thing that almost no one is mentioning is physical strength. Beterbiev is a lot stronger and in clinches, he could drain some of Bivol's energy.
Flip-floppers are the bane of boxing! Very sad. I predict that Bivol will visualize his wife's face on Artur, and he will slap that face into a 12 round decision.
I still have not committed to who will win. The knee is a big factor in that. If there are no issues with it, I see it as 50/50. If the knee isn't 100%, Bivol. Like you, I am amped for this fight. Good to hear that I can watch the main event without paying the PPV charge. Thanks for the vid Rummy.
It's so sad to see so many boxing fans changing their minds again and again. Nothing has changed, Beterbiev by bodyshot KO
Im going to go with Beterbiev. Bivol can, does and will get caught at some point. So beterbievs ability to make that happen and the power when it does, swings it for me. Bivol will pot shot from outside, throw quick 2-3 punch combinations and box. It's going to a be a long 36 minutes for him. The only caveat is beterbievs knee and his movement to prevent that.
I have gone back and forth for years over who I think would win this, I think I have finally settled on Beterbiev winning. My biggest concern is has Beterbiev's body finally broken. His (most recent) injury, he should not be fighting at least until March 25. So I think that may end up being a factor. Ultimately I think it'll be a good fight but I see Beterbiev winning unless his age finally catches up.
Imo, if Beterbiev is on his usual form and not affected by knee surgery or age, I predict eventually he catches Bivol, and knocks him out. It's likely Bivol is well ahead at this stage and boxing well, but he won't avoid Beterbievs hands all night.
Thank you for the video; my predictions are usually diabolical, so I have no problem being bold for this one. I feel Bivol will frustrate Beterbiev early doors, and in the later rounds as a increasingly frustrated Beterbiev marauds forward I think Bivol will clip him and stop him.
Bivol will look amazing until a looping punch on the ear or slightly behind it shatters his equilibrium. Beterbiev KO10 is my offical prediction but what the hell do I know? I ain't exactly @Rumsfeld over here.
