Do you think the damage Fury and Wilder gave eachother substantially affected them as fighters?

That is not a useful comparison to make as it’s all hypothetical. What’s worse you are picking the known best display of fury to the arguably worst aged version of usyk in a hypothetical - you can only work off what actually happened. It’s no different from saying usyk from the amateur days will obliterate fury. Never happened not helpful. Let’s see what happens in December.

Wilder took a lot of damage from Fury..............Fury took almost no damage from Wilder. Fury would still have lost to Usyk, I believe Wilder would've still lost to Zhang, not sure about Parker as Parker clearly didn't have the power to finish a somewhat diminished Wilder and eventually he would have to show his chin against a more reckless, free swinging Wilder.

So yeah, I think Wilder is deteriorated, Fury isn't; he just lost to the apex predator of the division.

To Wilder yes as he was on the end of most of punishment especially in fights 2 and 3 where he took alot of punishment.

To Fury no he may of been down a few times but apart from the rounds where Fury got knocked down in he didn't take much punishment overall and won most of the rounds in the trilogy.

Fury's issue has been the inactivity, the drugs, the weight going up and down, and just his overall lifestyle.

100 percent Fury took Wilders soul, an unbeaten fighter at that age does not take 2 brutal and sustained beatings like that and ever come back and be remotely the same.

I'm not sure how much Wilder took from Fury, I think it's more the lifestyle and climb to nearly 30 stone that would hit him at some point, the Ngannou fight was very alarming.

As daft as it sounds, I think Fury actually has a better chance of beating Usyk in the rematch than he maybe would if he stepped in the ring with big hitters of the likes of Bakole, Dubois, Zhang.

I think Furys punch resistance is worsening but what can never be taken away from him is his fighting spirit, his ability to ride a crisis out in a fight.

To be fair, Fury never had a great punch resistance, he was getting dropped by journeymen and cruiserweights. His recuperative powers, that's what amazing about him.

Wilder was always bang average with extremely exploitable holes. He definitely lost some delusion of being able to fight on the front foot when his opponent is actually a top ranked heavyweight with anything that resembles power. Parker displayed how a more nimble, compact boxer with proper head movement can leave him with only a Hail Mary punch as a mean of winning a fight (which was already noticeable against club fighter in Szpilka), and Zhang brutally knocked him out the moment he opened up with his shots (and that happening could be easily predicted based on how he was rocked by inferior opposition whilst loading the windmills.) The only thing we lacked was a good pressure fighter walking him down which was foreboded in the Duhaupas fight, but then again, you could say Fury did just that with much less of a punch than somebody like Povetkin.

They had to lose something, ye, but on the other hand they've never had a truly damaging fight in their careers bar those two.

It did to some degree. But also the drug use, alcoholism, and other crazy bad habits. That craziness is also what makes them good though. A lot of fighters got that darkness/craziness.

Fury, unsure. It seemed like maybe, but when he gets a good opponent in front of him, he’s performed well (Whyte, Usyk)

    Wilder, undoubtedly.

Damages? What damages? Both and Joshua since their birth are born with the brain damaged. Heres why they keep going to fight instead to retire.

Yes to some extent but Wilder was always a protected one trick pony
and Fury's only loss was by a thin subjective whisker.

Do any of you guys have weird stalker types that follow you around, as they are so triggered because their favourite fighter got bashed?

    Sad really
