I disagree. Fury could beat him as well. Would I favor him? No but he certainly has a chance.

 

I think Fury would trouble Tyson more than Usyk would I think Fury's size and clinching could cause alot of problems for Tyson.

But as for Usyk I think prime Tyson is probably one of the worst style match ups for him. Tyson is one of the best pressure fighters of all time with fantastic defense, handspeed, body punching, and dynamite in both fists.

Usyk wouldn’t be able to keep the rampaging Tyson off him and Tyson would do him in with his constant pressure and body punching.

Breidis came close to beating Usyk and Chisora gave Usyk all he could handle Tyson is levels above both fighters in regards to H2H pressure fighters.

It's nice to know that after a long & distinguished boxing career that Evander still has all his marbles.

Prime Tyson annihilates the plodding dinosaur brigade. Usyk's speed gives him a chance although I wouldn't make him favourite.

 

Its more that making Tyson look good makes Evander look good because he beat him twice.

I agree that Usyk could do it. But whether he is the only one from the current crop—who knows. The Tyson following has been one of the biggest and most extreme in boxing history, second only to the Ali cult, so it’s difficult to have any conversation about who could beat Tyson without all hell breaking loose.

1996 Tyson was still a bad mother****er. Id favor that Version of Tyson over current Usyk.

 

I've always wondered what would be the outcome if you swopped out Chisora and dropped a peak Mike Tyson in the corner on the night that Usyk fought Chisora....

 

Tyson couldn't handle Buster Douglas.
He never showed he could handle a SHW with some athleticism.
But he's KO'ing Fury, Zhang, Parker, Croatian, AJ, Dubious ...
Okay.
The size difference would be comical. Even Usyk would dwarf him.
