I'm rooting for Usyk, but I think it's a 50-50 fight. Usyk is clearly the better fighter, but Fury's has several advantages: height, reach, dishonest Queensberry referee, corrupt Top Rank judges.
Well hold on a minute if you're saying "Fury abused his body for years" going by your logic isn't Fury going to be exactly the same then in the rematch ? Why is Fury going to be better against Usyk in the rematch if he's abused his body for years ? It makes no sense. But what I do know is that Fury clearly took the Usyk fight seriously as evident by his weight loss weighing in the lightest he had in almost 5 years since the Wallin fight. So you saying "Fury didn't take the fight seriously" is a false statement. And then you said "Fury at his worst vs Usyk" when clearly Fury has had worst performances vs Ngannou, Wilder 3. And certainly looked the best he had in a few years vs Usyk so that's also a false statement from you.
As a Fury fan obviously I want Fury to win, however if Sugar”Kronk Style”Steward is still at the helm then I am resigned to another Usyk points win and if the Father is anywhere in Camp or involved in any of the promotion then Fury simply has not learned from the first loss of his pro career !
Because simply put Fury is fighting in a style that he does not have the power to carry out successfully and at the loss of his natural god given attributes. Yes I agree Sugar was needed for the Wilder fights but Fury has gone back over neglecting his jab, elusiveness and boxing ability and has been hit far more under Sugar than probably the rest of his career put together . Then you also have to factor in the Father and his antics in camp and the promotion of his fights that he try’s to make it all about himself and not his son, making him the biggest distraction for Team Fury .
Still a 50/50 fight for me. The last one was close on my cards, and both fighters are capable of making minor adjustments for a more decisive victory this time. Usyk is getting older and showed moments of vulnerability, and Fury has nothing to lose anymore. If Fury approaches this fight with the same mentality as Wilder 2 (fully focused, out to hurt Usyk as opposed to clowning around with showboating) then he wins it. If Usyk builds on his momentum and paces himself through the gears then he comfortably wins by decision.
I think Usyk wins again because he lives the life, he doesn't take a day off. Fury gets on the drink between camp, anything less than 100% dedication could cost him against an ATG like Usyk I will root for Fury as the underdog though, seems like people have written him off when he's a very live dog.
Sugar hill at this point is irrelevent Fury is a complete fighter who can adjust and use various styles and techniques to win fights. The big weapon which never was a weapon for Fury which has been taught under Sugar hill is that uppercut and Usyk was running into it way too often But Fury was not fighting the Sugar Hill style, He was trying to be a mover shaker then switching it up. True he's not a punch but he does carry power up till when he starts to get tired...then he becomes an arm puncher but he still kept Usyk honest with them akward angled timed punches
Usyk, by an even more lopsided decision, the first fight really was pretty lopsided but didn't show on the official scorecards, this time it will.
Call me delusional but I think Fury will win again, a 116-112 type of decision, close but clear, a fight for 12 rounds similar as to how the 1st 8 rounds went last time.
