What do you mean win again ? Fury lost the 1st fight clearly. As for the first 8 rounds ? Usyk won 4 of them.
How? Fury fell into the ropes at the end, that's a knockdown according to the rules. If anything the ref didn't help Fury cause he also fell into the ropes after the first big punch at the start of the sequence. Instead of a knockdown being called immediately, he got battered for 15 more seconds.
I think he meant he is picking Fury again, that's what I interpreted from his text He must have picked Fury last time with a similar score and is sticking to his guns. I think I picked Fury to win late last time or a 7-5 type fight I'm reversing the pick to Usyk points or late stoppage I do think Fury has a shot, but smart money has to be on usyk, due to his I.q and stamina
Fury was overall the better fighter in the first half of the fight. But after the 6th he shut down. Why? I am not sure. But I think his body just could not keep up with the pace. If he can’t do that the next fight he is not going to win. Unless he can force a stoppage the first 8 rounds. All in all it’s a tall order. Therefore I favor Usyk to win 70/30.
I mean im predicting Fury to win like I did the 1st time round. No, I scored the 1st 8 rounds 5-3 similar to 2 of the judges. I see this type of pattern continuing the full fight 2nd time round, I think a key factor this time will be Fury not having a complacency for Usyk having a perceived lack of power this time.
There was no shutdown, what tipped the fight on its head was that left hook that broke Furys nose badly in the 8th round. It was a little similar to Kell Brook v Carson Jones 1, when Brook got the exact same, constantly swallowing his own blood and effecting his breathing.
I'm 60/40 uysk but I can't get my head around this talk fury was at his best walking into the fight, it's absolute bollocks. Yeah he was his lightest for 5 years but it's widely accepted 5 years ago when he was at that light weight he was at his weakest and moved to sugar Hill from Ben. If anything it pointed to him being massively overtrained which personally I expected from uysk not fury as it was fury that pulled out of the earlier fight. As for fight week he never once loked like the normal fury or acted like it, the face off, the workout etc. It's well known when he's training for fights fury stops taking his tablets, (hence the erratic behaviour) to anyone who has been around people with mental health issues like bi polar it's pretty obvious he was on a massive low.
Short of the referee holding Fury up to take more shots Usyk wasn't getting the KO. He had three more rounds to do it but Fury rode it out. If anything the referee should have called the knockdown sooner.
So, the potential of becoming undisputed wasn't motivation for Fury to be serious? Ok. What would it take for this man to take the sport seriously? His fans say the same thing, if he is in shape, if he is serious, if he trains blah blah blah. The man has been boxing for a long time and fans have been playing the if game for almost just as long. I think it's time for the Fury fans to wake up a and realize he is who he is. He's not gonna be in shape come December or any other month, he's not going to take the sport seriously in the Usyk rematch or any other fight. Usyk UD or late stoppage.
Fury was in tremendous shape for the first fight and had two training camps. It was his best shape since the wlad fight and he still got tired out by usyk. In which world you think he will perform better this time. Now Fury knows usyk can stop him and will be way more carefully. Usyk will again tire him out and stop him late this time or won a decision
