Decent numbers, if i remember correctly thats what guys like morales, barrera and marquez were doing at their peak. Not every fight will break a million like Pac and Floyd got used to doing

 

For someone fighting a generic opponent 400k isn't terrible. Basically this is saying 400k buys are locked in regardless who Canelo fights. That is not terrible. At all. Tyson, Floyd and Mannys baselines were probably higher but this is not bad by any means.

It was initially widely reported to be 650k or something, but I couldn´t find any source besides some obscure website that listed "source" as proof.

Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't really matter to the promoter nor boxer though. The hope of every fighter on PPV is to get as many buys as possible. Doesn't matter if it is from hard cores, casuals, haters or fanboys, the checks cash either way...

I thought the numbers would top at 250k, I was wrong....
