I get what you're saying but what should Ben do? He needs fighters and he has money behind him.

They're all tossers to be honest these promotors. I do think Warren and Hearn are acting like bullies though.

Yarde is to blame here though. Not Ben.

 

I know he’s been out for a long while, but this guys career is basically just 90% warm up fights apart from the 2 against the Russians.

I mean what’s his best win Lyndon Arthur? He’s been well paid but it’s about time he takes some more meaningful fights and actually gets some decent wins.

I'm assuming with this move he is going to get paid a absolute fortune. The fight they have to make is Buatsi vs Yarde but with the Saudi money, that fight could have happened without this move, now it has happened I can't see Warren letting it go on a show he is involved in

 

Yarde's career has been a poorly managed. No momentum whatsoever.

 

It might end up on a Saudi show, but personally I hope it doesn't. Its got British classic at a packed O2 written all over it and we don't have too many of these type of shows happening anymore.

The Saudi cards are great, they have the quality and are genuinely 'stacked', but as someone who likes to regularly attend shows and flying to Saudi not being an option then I would rather we still got a few big headline british events happening in UK arenas and this is one of those

I don’t mind Shalom. He’s a young lad doing his best in a tough industry and has the 2 top promoters in the country seemingly against him.

 

Zero charisma, annoying voice, terrible cards and apparently an avid fan of women's boxing.

 

All British cards are crap these days. There simply isn’t enough good UK fighters to fill them out.

 

So there's a void to be filled and Ben ain't the man.
