That's the brain damage speaking. Beterbiev broke his brain.

He said it about one single punch.

He could take Adonises punch, but could not handle pressure and power of Beterbiev.

    I believe bodyshots finished Gvodzyk.

    Different kinds of power.

Stevenson has 1 punch KO power. He puts his body into it so if you get caught flush, you're going to get knocked out.

Beterbiev has thudding power on arm punches. He doesn't need to load up and he can hurt you with every shot he lands. Those shots linger round after around until you get broken down. Beterviev also has one punch KO power, but he doesn't load up like Stevenson.

Beterbiev is much more dangerous because his punches are non-telegraphed and when it lands, it induces panic. Stevenson's single shots can be avoided.

Sure, nothing wrong with that at all, both huge bangers, depends upon what happens on the day.

People can get quite upset about hearing so and so hit harder than such and such according to so and so but very hard punchers punching very hard can be that exactly.

Ive never seen a boxer that generates the amount of power beterbiev does on short distance punches, those are clubbing and traumatizing shots, his record speaks for itself

I can see Stevenson being a harder puncher with single shots. Adonis’ left hand has always been lethal when well placed, whereas Beterbiev had a more clubbing power where he slowly break down fighters.

They both have different kind of power. I’m curious where Gvozdyk would rate David Benavidez’s power.

Here we go perfect summary. FWIW I think Joe Smith has greater 1 punch power than Beterbiev.

I used to think so too before they fought. I've seen people eat a flush shot from Smith and Stevenson even a loaded up shot. I've never seen a fighter eat a Beterbiev punch after he's loaded up. He doesn't often load up, but when he does and lands nobody is eating it.

For a single shot, I could believe it. Stevenson was a problem.

This is boxing 101: praise the fighter you beat at all costs.

Or Stevenson really had the more explosive power. Stevenson flat-lined guy with a single punch. Beterbiev usually beats his opponents down with brutal combinations.

Maybe Stevenson had more explosive power, but he didn't have more concussive power. Different types of power in boxing. This is like comparing Wilder to Foreman type power. Stevenson was a one armed fighter who put EVERYTHING into throwing a left. Beterbiev doesn't fight like that - doesn't even load up and he still stops everyone. Easy to argue Artur has more power because he can deliver much more punishment throughout the fight.

    I think thats precisely it.
And Gvozdyk fought them both, he felt the power and he thinks that Stevenson hit harder.

You're missing my point. A boxer is never going to praise the guy that beat them and trash talk the guy who they beat.
