Same rules apply, Bivol only has a 72 inch reach.

Ruiz somehow managed to beat AJ despite being shorter with a smaller reach.

There's more to boxing than stats.

Yeah, he knocked him out after walking him down, no way Bivol has the power to do that to Ruiz.

Usyk managed to somehow beat Fury despite being the smaller man with a smaller reach.

Again, by knocking him down and changing the flow of the fight, Bivol does not have that kind of power, plus Usyk`s a southpaw which helped too.

Bivol would land pretty much every punch he threw against Ruiz. He has enough power to stop Ruiz walking him down.

He'll constantly beat him to the punch and escape danger.

Bivol has never been knocked down in his career, he's not getting knocked down by Ruiz and certainly not getting knocked out by him.

Ruiz isn't good enough to beat Bivol.

240lb, 6' 5" HW version of Bivol puts Ruiz in the hospital in the first round.

But they don't. They are an advantage in their own right, but the size advantage in this case isn't enough to overcome the skill advantage of Bivol.

Bivol is the right sort of LHW to pitch against the big boys. Speedy and elusive with great footwork. Ruiz is not the guy I'd choose for my LHW to fight though. So, sure, his footwork is no great shakes. But his hands are fast and he throws in bunches. The LHW still has to land to win which means Ruiz has a chance of touching him up. I think I'll back the heavier guy who can afford to take 2-3 punches to land his one, namely Ruiz.

    Interesting match up.

Of course there is a big weight difference, however if Roy Jones can do it, providing Bivol looks impressive enough against Beterbiev then I could defo see Bivol outpointing Ruiz. I think stylistically Ruiz suits Bivol. Its a good match up.

Bivol wouldn't stand any chance against the likes of Fury and Usyk though.

I really want Turki to make this fight. Bivol could legit win this. I would honestly favor Bivol over the a few of the fringe contenders like Gassiev and Miller, wins like that would build his status as a pfp great

Who cares? I wanna see Bivol`s rematch with Beterbiev on the 22nd, then you can start wondering if he can beat a heavyweight.

Bivol as a light heavyweight would beat Ruiz who is nothing but a fat middleweight.

Ruiz knocked AJ out and went toe to toe with Miller with a broken right hand, Bivol`s KO ratio at light heavy is poor, Ruiz does not have the power of a middleweight but he has the hand speed of a middleweight.
