I don't want to see that.

AJ don't deserve another tittle shot, after that kind of losing (nobody does to be honest)

I presume it will be another 5-0 to Warren.
I will only watch if Eddies face is simulcast during the entire event.

Can't recall a time ever when someone challenged a reigning champ for a title (again, that's challenged) ...

Got totally obliterated like Joshua did ....

And immediately got another shot at the same title against the same champ.

Joshua can win only wearing a NFL helmet. Dubois has his number. Theres no story imo. It remains only to understand if he will KO Bodybuilder inside 3 rounds as I suppose or 5.

Joshua went from being a champion to a loser living off his old glory, I hope that Dubois will destroy him once and for all for the sake of the sport.

ReMatchroom living up to its name. Why is it only Joshua has to be beaten twice to be a proven loser?

Got a feeling this would go the same way as the first one, if not worse for AJ. Think the Zhang-Joyce fights.

As someone who really hates rematches, I can't say I'm enthused. Can't blame Dubois for taking it though. Another big bag to fight someone you already beat with minimal trouble? He'd be dumb not to take it.

Besides, I guess one upside would be seeing Hearn's losing streak keep on. That'll never get old :sisi1

They will try to drug Dubois before the fight like they did to Iguanno.

I think we've already seen problems with this Turki guy. He has deep pockets. Other than obvious unifications, he isn't much of a matchmaker, in truth. These fighters are just like toys to him.

A bigger problem is the managers of these fighters aren't looking out for them. There's been some really bad managing of fighters in the last couple years.

Moreso than normal, IMO. And the managers just get a total pass.

Hearn and Warren aren't the managers. Joshua, in this example, actually has a manager. Most people probably don't even know his name.

Joshua got hammered last time out. Face first. Couldn't get up. Now he's going right back in again because his team always demands rematch clauses.

If Joshua gets pummeled again, and he leaves the ring against Dubois in fight 2 like Michael Watson did in his last fight ... who is going to answer for that? Who is going to say they didn't see that coming, given how the last fight ended?

I feel like a lot of guys from this era are going to end up the worse for wear, taking fights they wouldn't normally take, sticking around the ring longer than they otherwise would, because this Turki guy appeared on the scene and fighters, managers and promoters are just following him around like he's got them by the nose.

Who thinks it's a great idea Joshua is immediately jumping back in the ring with Dubois?

Just take the L and deal with it AJ. You don't always have to rebuild by avenging a loss. Feast on several more no hopers that are tailor-made for you, then give someone else the quickly diminishing honor of knocking you **** out.

Not to be an hysteric, but I firmly believe Muhammad Ali's condition after his boxing career was a big factor in kids moving away from taking up the sport of boxing in the US in the 1980s and 1990s.

You can't have the best fighter in a sport walk away a total mess and expect new people to want to aspire to THAT. Because the natural inclination is "if the best guy ended up like this, how are guys who aren't the best ending up?"

British boxing has experienced an enormous boost in the last decade with fighters like Joshua and Fury, in particular.

It won't help British boxing to continue on this course of developing top fighters if the two best of this era walk away from the sport with major brain issues ... or with Joshua and Fury slurring their words badly or ending up mute from head punches.

Boxing isn't a joke. These guys aren't toys.

Joshua fans have mostly lost hope, but if this were a year ago we'd have 10 threads about how AJ "Always performs better in rematches" and "Just needs to be aggressive and go back to his 'old' style". It's stupid as hell that everyone has to beat the golden goose princess TWICE for it to count. Hell, Fury had to beat Wilder THREE times.

Leave rematches for fights that call for them. I felt terrible for Usyk knowing he had to fight away a second time, dominate a second time, just to keep his belts after his first dominant win. I'm sure Eddie will have a Glen FELDMAN type waiting to rob Dubois if AJ can survive 12 rounds.

Thats basically their plan. Just try to survive 12 rounds then try to rob Dubois. Then Joshua's fanboy squad will do the rest and try to justify it in every online space because they completely lack any sense of shame
