Nontshinga bites down on his gumshield and comes out firing in the 9th. Good opening minute for him but then Yabuki catches him with a counter and another barrage sends Nontshinga back into the canvas.
Nontshinga gets back up but doesn´t last long as Yabuki puts him down again.

    Excellent finish!

Nontshinga was Africa´s last world champion. Yabuki now has 9, I think.
And hopefully this sets up a Teraji rematch.

How dare you disrespect Kevin Lerena's status as the WBC Bridgerweight champion. For shame :nonono

 I actually knew that he was the champ and his name did not even cross my mind. It´s a joke of a division.
*I wouldn´t mind it if they reshuffled things a bit: 175, 190, 220, 220+. And drop that BS ****ing name.

    Round 1 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 2 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 3 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 4 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 5 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 6 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 7 - Yabuki 10-9
    Round 8 - Yabuki 10-8
    Round 9 - Yabuki TKO

Complete and utter domination by Masamichi. Nontshinga was cautious of the power, but he was completely befuddled by Yabuki's control of distance and counter punching. Very good performance by Yabuki, who in my opinion is the best fighter at light flyweight.

I hope Nontshinga takes a rest from boxing and moves up in weight. This was a bad beating, he has taken a lot of punishment in his career, just in his last three it has been grueling.

Thought Yabucki was perfectly capable of winning, but I'm surprised he did so by outboxing Nontshinga as well as outpunching him.

Would be kinda funny if he does actually go up, because 112 could potentially have Teraji and Gonzalez, the two other beltholders that were in 108 with him there if they win both win tomorrow.

Hey, a potential answer to the "what-if" question of who would've gone undisputed in 108 if they were able to schedule unifications.
