I like both, I typically enjoy Beterbievs style and results. Would be happy either way as long as it's a good fight and fair result

She was probably the one that attacked him and she got scratched when he was trying to take a shoe away from her or something. If he genuinely abuse her, she should have a lot more to show for it than whatever that pathetic little mild blemish on her cheek is. At the very least, you're being overly judgmental and rushing to judgment with him, when there's no ironclad evidence to back any of this up other than the word of an angry ex. You know as well as I, and like me (accused of emotional abuse) have probably been a victim of it yourself, that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. What if these are truly baseless accusations? It wouldn't be the first time it happened. Has the Depp-Heard trial taught us nothing? I usually trust my gut when it comes to stuff like this, and temperamentally Bivol does not come across as an abusive person.

Only coward simps believe such accusations at face value especially when the accused is a reputable person, it's a way of rats bringing their betters down to their level in their minds

So you would have given Beterbiev the benefit of the doubt as well?

The people who tend to like Bivol more are dickriders who got on the bandwagon after Clenelo. No one cared about him before he was a cherry pick gone wrong.

It all depends, if Beterbiev's wife was as overtly vapid as Bivol's wife, probably. But since his wife is probably a devout Muslim, I'd be more inclined to believe her.

So your irrational hatred for him wouldn't cloud your judgement?

Beterbiev is so nice and friendly that an assault allegation would be shocking. Bivol has a bit of mean streak to him. Beterbiev's personality is not at all like that.

I don't have an irrational hatred, I'm just not that fond of him and root for him to lose. Don't want to see the guy die or anything. That being said, since I have a history on here of giving the benefit of the doubt to and occasionally defending people I politically disagree with and I don't like personally when they're attempting to cancel them, no.

I have no idea what the hell you're talking about, both of them seem quite calm, docile and gentle to me, this mean streak you're seeing is nothing but a projection. You want a mean streak, look no further than GGG and Kovalev.

Yea, so if it came out that GGG or Kovalev were being a-hole I'd find that believable. Bivol is sneaky.

Again, a clear as day projection from you. There's absolutely nothing sneaky about him whatsoever.

Surprised that Beterbiev is allowed to fight with such a big beard. That would never be allowed in the past. I remember Gil Clancy commenting on Duran's beard when he fought Hearns in 1984. Not that it mattered. I wonder if MMA's popularity and lack of concerns over beards has crossed over to boxing.
