Seeing that Eubank Benn debacle was a pivotal moment. It was great while it lasted but Hearn has now poisoned Saudi boxing.

I don't know about tonight, but whenever Opetaia loses I'd be willing to bet that's exactly how it happens. I'm a fan of Opetaia but he falls off a cliff bad in the back half of the fight. Ain't as bad as Zhang, but that's kinda who it puts me in mind of. Pretty good package skill and power wise, but failed by the gas tank.

It's hard not to like his boxing. The only thing I could criticise is that his head is very static and he is a bit too stiff when he is not doing anything meaningful. But the truth is that when he goes in and out the distance he moves his head properly using angles and avoiding being a static target. So yes, he can still improve, but he does it really well imho. Moreover, awesome balance, his punches have to hurt for sure.

This is what he’s hoping for. A late rally stoppage. Problem is he can’t punch like Breidis and hope for a late KO. Banking on a KO when you’re a mediocre puncher isn’t much of a strategy.
