On one level, I liked Bivol's generallly cleaner work and better overall ring generalship, but I oddly felt as though Beterbiev's volume (some got through) and persistent aggression were influencing the course of the fight and necessarily the outcome.

    Tough fight to score.

That’s an excellent comparison, actually. This was like Leonard/Hagler II.

Turkey saying he had Bivol winning the fight I think. So he will definitely make the rematch

Do these guys not realize that a 34 year old AB would run over him like a tank crushing an egg? The man is 40 years old in a couple of months and he put it on him. AB doesn't the stamina anymore to go 12 hard rounds like he used to. The AB from the Gvozdyk fight stops him no doubt.

The fight was close there was no robbery i scored it a draw but i figured Beterbiev would edge it based on being the aggressor. In a close fight more than likely the judges are going to side with the aggressor.

I thought Bivol edged it but not a robbery by any means.

Absolutely superb fight. I hope they do it again. Prefer Bivols style and leaned towards Draw / Bivol close, but 7-5 either way is perfectly fair, and in no way is this a robbery.

this wont help biev in the atg discussions. might even hurt him in the p4p discussions. he was outboxed across 12.

    Very close.

If I score rd 6 and 9 differently, both very close rounds, I would have Bivol winning.

A draw or a narrow win would be fine.

the 116-112 is a bit questionable, but overall, a fair result.
