If you are blocking a shot and still get hurt, should it count ?

I don’t think he was getting beat up at any point he had to be so switched on for so long that he had to take a break, or rounds off unfortunately it was in the championship and later rounds, taking the full round 10 off didn’t look good for him. But he was not getting hurt at any point, the most disappointing thing for me is that anyone regardless of who they thought won can possibly discredit that performance from bivol, you might not favour that style and that is fair enough but come on you should respect it, he deserves better.

OK, I'll defer to your greater knowledge of the rules.

If I was reffing, it would be a TKO on account of a punch being thrown and the intended target defence being ineffective in preventing the damage.

That's why I would never be reffing.

The reason why Eddie and Frank are so upset and got their knockers in a twist at the result is because they know Ginger won't think of going to 175 now and gone are any chance of him fighting on a Riyadh show.

LOL you don't get it. I thought there would be more intelligent discourse but I was wrong. Have a good day.

Inactive? Bivol landed more and had more crisp shots. He was actually more active. It's not that he did not land but that Bivol doesn't pack a punch.

Yeah, never in the history of the sport has a fight been stopped due to a bruised and swollen eye...

I don’t think that was running, he was stepping in and moving out, as is his style, but he actually engaged with Beterbiev more than I expected. Credit to both fighters they treated us there. I’m sure this will play back well for both fighters

Guys, we have pro boxing and amateur boxing. The pro ranks is the pain game. If you want to tally up landed up punches and score it based on that then maybe amateur boxing is more your speed.

LMAO, says the dumb ass, that the guy that landed more punches in a rnd doesn't win the rnd.

The problem with that is that literally one jab can **** your face up. I've seen it so many times. It's just in general not a good indicator.

canelo punches arms and shoulders, which hurt opponents, not because they are scoring blows, but because that opens up holes for scoring blows. if nonscoring blows that hurt opponents counted, canelo would never lose.
