Even though I thought Bivol won we must remember Beterbiev is 40 coming off a knee injury

    Even with fair judges I struggle to see Bivol beating prime Beterbiev

    Bivol doesn't make it out of round 9 against a prime AB. Couldn't even beat a 40 year old AB. The difference maker is the power. Bivol doesn't punch hard enough.

    Had Beterbiev winning anyway but the only reason this was close is because Beterbiev is an old man lol

    33 year old Beterbiev vs 39 year old Bivol, just imagine.

    I didn't see the knee affecting him one bit. He was marching forward like usual and fighting like usual.

    Bivol has really good defense and didn't allow Beterbiev to land much. And yes, Bivol outboxed him and should have won the fight.

    Beterbiev won anyway, but a prime version without injury would smash him to pieces. He wouldn't hear the final bell

    Bivol came close to aging him out. Maybe next year he will finally be old enough

    Bivol would not just struggle to beat a 33 year old Artur... Arturs KO percentage would stay at 100%, imo.

    beterbiev didnt look much different to me. He looked as good as ever in his last fight against callum smith. He just fought an opponent with stellar defense and movement this time

    40 year old Beterbiev outboxed the "master" boxer. Almost more satisfying than a KO would have been.

    Off his game, nearly 40 and still beat Bivol. And didn't need a KO to do it. Make that make sense. :lol:

    Like I said for years that whole Mayweather stuff only works in the lower weight classes. It's hard to rely totally on your boxing skills at 175 plus. If you can't bang a little bit at the higher weights then you are in trouble against the elites of the division.
