he did. by the rules set up for scoring a fight, he won. had someone told him that punches landing on glove are scored, i imagine he would have used the strategy of a half step back...instead of blocking like all coaches have been teaching all their fighters to do for 100 years.

 

Rewatching it. Bivol won the first 5 rounds.

 

If you mean Bivol only clinched a couple of times as Bivol clinched over 20 times, then I agree.

 

Will rewatch. I'm not against Bivol having won, I just didn't see it myself scoring the fight live and there were a couple of moments I missed in the middle rounds which I think I gave to AB maybe based on the last minute, what I preferred. But is a Beterbiev win inconceivable?

 

Clear win for Artur. Competitive fight! But clearly Beterbiev got those championship rounds. Bivol has nothing to be ashamed of!! He showed why he is elite. He was probably sharper than he was against Saul! But this wasn’t Canelo he was up against! This was a better and stronger fighter in Beterbiev.

Usyk and Beterbiev are PFP #’s 1&2. No doubt! Boxing is alive and well again. Outstanding performance.

 

Had it a draw. Bring on the rematch.

 

I don't know to be honest, his last two fight were weird against Willings he didn't really seem to be trying at times, against Arenyeka he didn't want to get into a slugfest and played the low-risk game.

He just doesn't have much power, and his ring IQ/mentality is questionable. He does have some good skills and talent though

 

116-112 for AB is crazy. A draw, 115-113 Bivol but I couldn't see anything more.. definitely not an AB win.

 

It was that good I couldn’t sleep so I’m on the rewatch now, well if it was in Vegas we wouldn’t have even started the main event.

 

Bivols performance was the second best performance this year, after Derevyanchenko fought with a torn bicep for 8 rounds against mbilli

 

No it didnt. Losses are part of the sport.

 

I was referring more to it being technical, highly skilled, and threatening to catch fire without ever doing so than the Adelaide Byrd. GGG had just been on a 20-something fight KO streak and Artur a 20-ko streak. One guy coming forward for 12 rounds, the other going backward for 12 rounds, undisputed. There's a few similarities. But really it was the high level **** and neither guy being able to physically put a beating on the other.

 

Just finished the rewatch
And I changed my mind on two rounds for sure and I’m still not sure on the 12th,
So I changed the 8th to a Beterbiev round
And I changed the 10th to a bivol round.
So without being able to decide definitely on the 12th I still have it
115-113 for Bivol
If you can give Beterbiev the 12th which is totally acceptable then it’s a draw at best.
But this is the least amount of changes I have ever made on a rewatch.
I will rewatch and score the 12th again until I can be sure who took it, but I don’t think I need to rewatch the other rounds.
Only a Bivol win or a draw is possible for me.
