To the people claiming Bivol/Beterbiev was a "Robbery"

lol even when they scored it admittedly 115-113 with a couple of very close rounds by their own opinion

 

Bivol landed 50% of his power punches. That should answer all the questions who was a better boxer in the ring.

 

that 8-4 beterbiev card is probably the main catalyst for people calling it a robbery

Not close to a robbery, was nip & tuck a lot of it & Beterbiev came on strong late

 

Am I the only person that thought if it went the 12 rounds then it'd more than likely be a Bivol win with him chalking up the rounds with those machine gun combos. Anything shorter than 12 and it'd be Beterbiev?

Beterbiev looked so impressive with his range in his previous fight but I was astounded with how he dictated that ring while facing Bivol.

 

Yet never hurt Bivol. Hurt his gloves maybe.

No robbery here. Bivol started strong and Beterbiev finished strong. 7-5 for either fighter or Draw would have been fine. It was that close.

 

Then why didn't he ever look hurt in the fight

 

Something all fans should remember, all boxers have had favorable decisions go their way and all have gotten robbed at some point. That just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

 

It's the most ordinary I've ever seen Bivol look. He's usually one of the most sprightly and energetic boxers. He even looked slightly sluggish in his approach tonight. All of that is a testament to the boxing prowess of Beterbiev. I don't get the hate going on either way. Two absolute champs with hugely differing styles fought it out. These are the matchups that I live for as a boxing fan. Beterbiev won via aggression imo. He stifled Bivol. I'd never have seen that Bivol would've been out of answers beforehand. I still think that Bivol could come away from this and rethink his tactics for a great rematch. Boxing wins
