I haven't checked any p4p list in a while (figure it's still Crawford, Usyk, Inoue in any order).

Does Beterbiev's performance push him close to the top three across boxing?

Beterbiev became Undisputed tonight but outside the cemented top 3 Crawford Usyk Inoue it really is a pick ‘em below them with arguments all ways .

I get that but Beterbiev closing off the ring the way he did tonight would surely cause a lot of problems to any of those three

How is Inoue ahead of Beterbiev.
Genuinely curious, as Im not super knowledgeable about his weightclasses.

I get that division hopping matters, its p4p after all, but at some point you have to rate the quality of fighters theyre beating.

Isnt Bivol and possibly Nail, better than anyone Inoues fought?

There's only the boxers available in front of them to beat. Inoue has quite readily dispatched of most opponents in his way. I'd say that Donaire is his biggest scalp but I have no question as to whether he'd fight anyone in his way. He's true class when it comes to fighting the best opposition, most best boxers are or at least the ones I respect the most

Thats fine that a boxer can onlu fight whose available, but at the end of the day thats kinda besides the point, with the point being, who have they actually beaten.

Beterbiev, even at age 39, still managed to become undisputed and beat a highly elite boxer like Bivol. What a fighter.

Surely anyone that has even the slightest of contempt for Canelo's opponent choices wouldn't wish him the hurt of getting into the ring with Beterbiev

Agreed. It's sad how this achievement is being glossed over.

The rematch between Bivol and Beterbiev will happen before Canelo gets a shot at either. And in a rematch Bivol will probably be favored to win. That said, I would love to see Canelo fight Beterbiev next for Undisputed!! Canelo Beterbiev has the potential to be a war and a much better fight than Bivol Beterbiev was. By better fight, I mean more action packed, more big punching, more putting it all on the line and going for it.

Canelo will probably now say that Bivol isn't worth the rematch now that he's lost and will instead fight a three legged donkey. Beterbiev would absolutely destroy Canelo. Even just on weight. Canelo has one of the best chins in boxing but that many pounds of pressure alone would surely crumple him. I think Bivol could've dropped Canelo if he went for it. I'd still rather rather see Beterbiev v Bivol 2. I don't think that Canelo has the heart for big exchanges anymore but would love to be proven wrong.

Here's what I know. Styles make fights. Bivol's style was always going to be tricky for Canelo. But Beterbiev and Canelo's styles mesh perfectly for an action packed thriller. You can't deny that.
I'm not sure I get this analogy. Please explain.
     That's funny.
I'm cool with Beterbiev Bivol rematch next, and Bivol may win the rematch, either leading to a trilogy or into Beterbiev retiring. At 40 years old how much longer can Artur realistically fight on for?

P4p is pretty much a simulation though? Assessing styles and pondering how they'd react against each other's? Other than that you just beat the person in front of you and that's the best you can do

I'm **** with tech so apologies for not replying to them individually.

Absolutely get that Beterbiev's and Canelo's styles could result in an absolute storm. I stand by it though, Bivol had Canelo worn well before the end of the fight, well done to Canelo for stepping up to the challenge but Beterbiev at LHW isn't Bivol. Canelo would probably be sucking canvas.
