Top 5 no doubt, Bivol is a 10/10 quality fighter, on paper Beterbiev won, and certainly is top 5.

 

I put beterbiev above inoue and crawford after today, the man completely obliterated his weight class and lost minimal rounds doing so.

 

I’d say there’s a good argument for Artur sneaking his way at number 5 after this win, behind Usyk, Bud, Inoue and Canelo.

I was thinking along those same lines. Has Usyk or Bud beaten anyone equal to or better than Bivol?

 

Crawford has never fought anyone nearly as dangerous as the fight tonight. He struggled and potentially lost against Madrimov. Both these guys beat guys of the level of Madrimov, so I'd put at least Beterbiev in the top 3.

Spence was held in no less regard than Bivol when Crawford crushed him.

As noted before the fight, both have looked utterly dominant against everyone up until facing each other, I like to think that says more about how they matched up together than that they performed poorly, on the contrary they both performed great against top-level operators.

There was so much stuff going on in the fight, micro-shifts, adjustments, movement, counter movement, distance control ebb & flows. These 2 guys are so far ahead of anyone else in the division IMO, and they each brought the best out of each other.

Bring on the rematch!

 

It was an evenly matched fight. They cancelled each other out. That’s what can happen when two great fighters face off in the ring.

 

I enjoyed the fight, but I don't think either guy performed well enough to supercede the top three right now.

 

Bud didn`t get hit as much as those two did last night, neither of them know how to block punches.

 

He didn`t win convincingly, his defense was very poor.
