It just seems crazy to think people are calling it a robbery. if you had it 115-113 to Bivol you must have scored the 1st 9 rounds 7-2, 8-1 if you somehow managed 116-112. absolute insanity, no way on earth was it that wide after 9. At best Bivol would be lucky to get a draw. 10/11/12 he took an ass whooping and looked like might no mas. Hope there’s a rematch because Beterbiev had all the answers after he figured him out. Rematch will be emphatic.
The rounds Bivol won were wide and the rounds Beterbiev won were closer. Makes it seem like Bivol was more dominant. Plus nearly all the clean meaningful work was done by Bivol. But, again, judges dont have replay/slow-mo so a lot of those punches Beter throws it seems like theyre landing more than they actually did. Nonetheless there's a reason Bivol took off rounds 10 and 11 and it wasnt because he was trying to be nice...
I thought the last round was close & debatable. However, I also thought several other rounds were close & debatable b/c Bivol had eye-catching spurt flurries followed by lengthy stretches of just retreating into a defensive shell & getting outworked. Ultimately it was a close & indecisive fight w/o any clear winner IMO.
What did Beterbiev does in the 12th. round to win it, exactly? Bivol outlanded him in High Impactful shots clearly, and this ain't an opinion, but a fact. This content is protected
Yeah he clearly won them. I had him winning heavily after the first 9 I had it 5-1 or 4-2 at worst after 6. And then i have 3 or more Rounds for Bivol. 7-8-9 were all Bivol Rounds. Round 12 was also a clear Bivol round. Chris Mannix has similar to mine scorecards where he scored 7-8-9 for Bivol, and had him in front till the 12, and had it a draw i think.
12 was a clear Bivol round. 10 and 11 was clear Beterbiev. 8-4, 7-5 is the worst case scenario for Bivol. He won that fight clearly.
