Ben Shalom needs to focus on his real next gen star in Adam Azim (22yrs old) , not this Ben Whittaker who showboats Vs Uber drivers who can't hit back , as soon as someone hit back he doesn't like it .. talks like he the next big thing the guy is cringe ..

Yeah last night really wasn’t good for him. Things is the casual boxing fan absolutely loves him. People at work always watching short videos of him, he does look good when he is fighting no names to be fair, but last night really did expose him. He was 100% looking for a way out. He will be even more carefully matched now. Until he steps up and gets beaten you got to put up with him i’m afraid

For a 27-year old Olympic medalist he looked shocking last night. I deeply dislike him for his antics (and Sky hype), but I never would have thought that he sucks so bad.

Also...he had to be taken out of the ring on a wheelchair, but...

Frazer Clarke was knocked unconscious with the side of his face hanging off and he managed to leave the ring with less fuss than Whittaker.

We have an example of "goldilocks syndrome"" here for boxxer.
Ben too much personality and it seems can't back it up. Adam Azim with little personality and is good in the ring altho there's question marks over his chin.
Callum Simpson seems to be the middle ground. Nice personality & can fight.

Simpson was decent on the Sky commentary last night. Definite downgrade when they pulled Buatsi in for the main event, could hardly hear a word he was saying!

The likes of Ben Whittaker, Conner Ben, Chris Eubank , all love to talk a good game but we don't see that reflect in the ring lol latter Next Gen 35 year old Eubank never even held a real world title .. casuals can't keep buying this WWF type stuff.. we need to see real talent on display in the ring ...

Surely it has to be a rematch for him next? Beyond a joke if he fights somebody else.

He quite simply doesn't have the power to compete at 175; if he rematches Cameron next there is a good chance he will lose (and he should have lost yesterday). The likes of Yarde and Buatsi would annihilate him, and I would say he is up against it simply trying to win the British strap at 175. He should boil himself down to 168 if he wants a better chance of success, though I still don't see him getting much further than British level.

You don't like to label any boxer a quitter really, but it does happen. He didn't even give it a try to see if he could walk. Looked like he ran out of ideas, then out of gas, then chucked it.

If you style off and do ridiculous showboating against journeymen, when you step up a level you also need to up the gears to back that up.

Last night when BW and LC went over the top rope Whittaker was starting to look tired to me, not making a dent in Cameron who was looking the stronger fighter.

If a rematch doesn't happen it's pretty obvious which fighter doesn't want it.

I've been saying he don't have it since before he turned pro.

I can't get over that Olympic final performance. Obviously did well to get to gold medal match but how can you fight like he did in the last round, knowing he was behind and still have the temerity to complain.

Lonsdale Belt at best for him. No Shame in that but he is not winning titles

I see him being incredibly selective of his competition for the next couple fights.

He still has time but he’s probably going to be more strategic.
