I need to see proof of injury. I wasn't at the fight, but I have a friend whom was and claims he heard someone tell him to "stay down" after the tumble over the rope.

Dude was carted out in a wheel chair. A guy I wasn't all end on while he was being hyped up to be the next best thing in boxing, finally faces a guy who he's going to need more than dance moves to beat.

Was anyone board enough to sit and watch this fight as well last night and/or have any information on the actual injury, if there is one.

Looks like he chucked it.

He doesn’t fight the rematch and spends the next 2 fights facing cab drivers to “rebuild”.

Doesn’t have what it takes to be anywhere near world level.

 

Genuinely nothing wrong with him, they went over the rope in very slow motion and the ref/security were there to prevent both from falling to the ground.

I've watched a number of interviews from Cameron and honestly, this guy is a class act......forget judging him from the outside, give him the chance to speak his mind and he's a just a real nice guy (albeit a little dunce in the head - then again people from Sheffield haven't ever been known for their intelligence)

 

We need to see proof of what happened here, I hope for his sake there is some legitimate injury like Dubois got against Larena, if there isn't then he got exposed, let's see what comes out in the wash.

 

Whittaker was getting beat and he found a way out,just like Hopkins did against Joe Smith Jnr !

 

Comedy of errors. Whittaker is a fraud. He dodged a bullet.

 

There was no injury. I’d be surprised if Whittaker is actually any good. He went viral for showboating against journeymen, that is all.

 

It was very fortunate and convenient 'out' for Whittaker and how fortunate too that the judges found a way of calling it a draw.

Looked very weird to me. I was intently watching his foot when he want over the top rope, and don't see anything it could've made contact with. Even though the tumble over looked crazy, they both landed quite comfortably on their backs on the part of the ring outside the ropes, and Whittaker's feet were just in the air off the edge of the ring. Tide in the fight was turning against him, so it certainly would've been a convenient moment to get an out.

 

Ben Whittaker won't be taken seriously unless he proves he actually received a serious injury enough to be wheel chaired to hospital AND then he gives Cameron a immediate rematch, no tune up crap.
