Canelo is legitimately accomplished at 168 and at least had prior experience at 175. I do agree with you that 175 is too far up for him and ideally he will stay at 168 or even lower.

I'm not blaming Loma because he can only fight the guys available to him, but his wins are of a lesser caliber than even 175 Canelo. You could argue Haney but it's TBD even for him, plus Loma didn't the nod and at minimum it was a razor thin decision. Whereas Bivol handily defeated Canelo.

But if you want to argue that Loma is the more dynamic fighter capable of higher highs, I'd probably agree. For me Bivol is ahead due to Canelo win and because he hasn't any slip-ups like Salido or Lopez.

Loma was beating champions and making them quit.

Outside of Canelo, Bivol does not have any run of standout performances.

That’s the only right answer to the question.

Bivol for me. Like Erroll Spence he is a master of the fundamentals.

Bivol made the Alvarez fight so one sided they couldn't rob him. If it had been as close as Loma vs Haney/Salido/Lopez, no doubt they'd have robbed him too

Lomachenko. He was a maverick. Never seen boxing artistry like that when he was in full flow.. majestic at his peak.. i think he's just too small for LW.. because today especially it's a breeding ground for future WWs.. whereas he's basically a FW. Bivol is fairly basic in some ways although he does it exceptionally well.

Loma is one of the top 5 boxers ever for me when it comes to talent.

Maybe even number 1, he is ****ing mesmerising. Only thing that let him down is poor fight management and taking rounds off when he shouldn’t and the fact that he was constantly boxing men 15lbs heavier.

Watching Loma perform is like watching an artist at work. I can’t remember any other boxer who made me feel this way, Floyd was close with his defensive excellence but Loma barely got hit while being close to you

    Idk.

For all of Lomas skills, and for all of his artistry, Bivol seems to have something, some intangibles, that Loma doesnt.... which makes the comparison closer than it would seem if you just watched their highlights.

I think its closer than I ever thought it would be, thats for sure.
