Why Beterbievs team won't take the rematch

He just recovered from an injury and went through his toughest fight to date with a lot at stake, not to mention he’s pushing 40. Give the guy some time to take it easy and savor his big win before having him jump into negotiations right away. He’s got some options before he retires.

Turki will give him millions of reasons to take the rematch.

 

I don’t want to see Beterbiev potentially get KO’d trying to move up in weight at 40 years of age. Even if he can win, it’s unnecessary risk.

All the other fights are great though. Especially Canelo as it’ll be a big event and good reward for a fighter that every boxing fan should appreciate.
