Canelo doesn't have the defensive ability of Bivol and his admittedly great chin can only take so much punishment from a guy like Beterbiev. Canelo gets overwhelmed and stopped in early-mid rounds.

If Canelo can stay upright and if he can get those judges back, Adalaide and the crew he could surely win, it worked before, why not now? You had to know that was coming.

A near 40 y/o Beterbiev just beat, fought to a draw against or arguably lost a razor-close one point decision either way to a 33 y/o version of the fighter who absolutely schooled Clenelo without needing to move out of second gear and who literally gets hit less than anyone else in the sport when he's fighting his usual fight, let alone when he uses his legs and every inch of the ring and just because Beterbiev didn't secure the stoppage for the first time in his career and looked human suddenly the Ginger glazers are piping up about the chances of their flat-footed hobgoblin ginger messiah beating Beterbiev who he already shamelessly ducked a much closer to prime version of when he moved back down to a graveyard division to become undisputed instead of trying to do so in one which was on fire after cherrypicking the shell of Kovalev's drunkard ghost who he had the audacity to claim was the ''best LHW in the world'' at the time

Clenelo can't even get Bumlangy, an inactive career 154 pounder Jermello, Mung, Juan Ryder, and an ancient GGG's moribund ghost out of there. Even this version of Beterbiev would get arrested for legal homicide if he fought those guys for goodness sake. And he would do too against that that lead-footed giant ginger penguin who only locates his plums and ventures out of the coop when legit threats like GGG, Beterbiev, and Kovalev are old and grey, look human and he sees the signs of decline in them he was waiting for.

Don't forget he fought Bivol only after Bivol had his worst ever performance two fights prior to facing him

Clenelo ducking Benavidez like he has leprosy claiming that he doesn't deserve a shot at him because he ain't beat no one. Where you at Bumlangy? Where you at Mung? Where you at 154 pounder Jermello? Where you at Juan Ryder?

MW Hamzah Sheeraz revealed the other day that he was offered the Clenelo fight recently. What an absolute disgrace you are Ginger

    Except its not comparable, imo.

Why? Well, lets dismiss that the vast majority of people actually did have Golovkin beating Canelo when they first fought lol... but disregarding that, in reality, Artur is a league above Golovkin. Hes a completely different kind of beast.

And do you know who else likely knows he wouldnt beat Beterbiev?

    Canelo.

Its why he wont dare to make that fight to become the undisputed light heavyweight champion against him, despite having fought there multiple times.

Only chance Canelo has is fighting Artur when he's well into his 40s and shot

If they fight in 2024-25, AB wins with ease

I'm afraid he can't even beat a shot version like he did with Kovalev tbh

2-1 with the 1 being a draw. GGG did far better in the third match people gave him credit for it.

    Canelo doesn’t have the engine.

he could win some rounds early but he would get battered from rds 8-12, maybe even a TKO

I'm not a fan of either one of them, which means what I have to say is completely without bias. Beterbiev walks down and violently beats Ginger Balls within an inch of his life, and stops him in 9. So my official answer is, hell no.

Definitively, but arguably he won 6. The middle rounds weren't nearly as impressive for Canelo as most people have convinced themselves they are.
