I can't see any route to victory for Alvarez, short of doing a Saunders orbital perfect punch type deal, and that was a freak occurrence.

Canelo has a tendency to gas, and that is nectar and ambrosia to Artur.

He would be in Canelo's grill from rounds 4-12, and would wear Canelo down.

Bivol has great conditioning and he faded late, Canelo would fade much earlier.

Canelo's head movement and defence would buy him some time, but I can't see much success for him, Artur is bigger, hits really hard and is strong and resilient, he took some bombs from Bivol and just ate them like they were nothing.

Maybe if Canelo targetted the body from the get go he could get some success, but I just can't see it.

The fight is in Vegas. The refs are handpicked by Canelos team (as specified in the contract). The ring is 24' square (as specified in the contract). AB uses 16 oz gloves (as specified in the contract). The ref is picked by Canelos team (as specified in the contract). AB comes put first, waits 30mins (as specified in the contract).

AB stalks Canelo, hurting him frequently and avoids most of the counter punches thrown by the ginger. One flash knockdown scored y AB. Canelos nose broken.

Fight goes the distance. 99% of ringside and media score the fight 118-110 for AB.

    Judges scorecards:
    114-114, draw
    116-110 and 118-110 for Canelo.

    Saul Alvarez by split decision.

At 40 I think Canelo could take it. Canelo has only lost or had trouble with to very skilled boxer. Its a fight I would like to see.

Beterbiev needs that new fragrance released by Tom Ford. Eau de Grey I believe it's called, and it smells like mouldy carpets, cats and retirement home. That scent would make Canelo stone hard and ready to get into the ring with him asap.

If Canelo beat Beterbiev by decision, you'd call that BS judging & protecting the golden goose too just like against GGG. That's my point, Canelo has made a career out of proving people wrong, and then many fans being unable to accept what happened and then crying about it. Meanwhile Beterbiev himself just got the benefit of corrupt or biased judging against Bivol. I don't hear those who say that they had Bivol winning clearly alleging some kind of a judging conspiracy though like they did when Canelo drew / beat GGG.

As far as the "joke ass 3rd one" between Canelo and GGG, what made it a joke? "because he was 40"?? Or was it because GGG showed up and didn't come to fight? Who's fault is that?

Every GGG fan and their mother was dying for the trilogy and many were sure GGG still could beat Canelo. The "but he was 40" argument kinda goes by the wayside now doesn't it in the wake of Beterbiev, near 40, just beating prime much younger Bivol.

Via "bad judging" according to some but no crying about a judging conspiracy like there was with Canelo GGG 1 and 2. Make it all make sense!!

    lol…. No.
Too small to be taken seriously in the division,
He would get viciously sparked out like Duran going up to fight Hearns.

I just want you and everyone else who thinks Canelo has no chance vs a 40 year old Artur to know, that ya'll being so sure Beterbiev would destroy him makes me want to see it happen even more, so Canelo can prove all ya'll wrong and make you eat crow.

According to ya'll, Canelo has no chance to beat the guy (Beterbiev) that many on here say just lost to the guy that you were sure Canelo would beat (Bivol) 2 years ago.

I can't help but go back to before the Canelo Bivol fight, much of this forum was sure Canelo would beat Bivol, some even saying that Bivol had no chance lmao. Then Canelo loses and ya'll act like it was a domination and that Canelo was out of his league and now as a result has no chance to beat a guy with a style more suited to Canelo doing well against. But now he has no chance against the guy who he arguably and according to some was sure he just beat. You can't make this stuff up.

    Bro, I like canelo too
But cmon, bivol battered him around simply being longer & naturally bigger
but lacks the cracking thuds that Beterbiev has imo.

credit to canelo for testing the waters
But it would be unwise for him to pursue or explore LHW any further.

That being said I will pay to watch & root for canelo with a $300 bet if the odds are right either way!

Yes. He lost to Bivol 120-108 yet somehow the judges had it 115-113 which makes me think if he wins two rounds against Beterbiev he will get the nod. Basic mathematics.

If you think Bivol won 120-108 you clearly DKSAB. Canelo clearly won Round 9, it was one of the easiest rounds to score in the fight. While Rounds 1-4 can be debated to the cows come home, there's no doubt that Canelo won at least 1 round for sure, so you having it 120-108 is objectively wrong. Clearly you're exaggerating by suggesting it was a shutout. :deal:

Even the most delusional Canelo hater would give him at least 1 round for sure.

Canelo milked knocking out an alcoholic drunk and former great LHW for all it's worth. Canelo ain't **** at 175. Got beat up by the weakest puncher inside the LHW top 10.

If Canelo were to win by a lucky haymaker, he’d probably have a better chance against Beterbiev than Bivol considering Bivol’s defense is better and Beterbiev is older, that’s if Beterbiev doesn’t KO him first.
