One of the most exciting fights in boxing in my opinion. Both warriors, they have one of the highest ring IQ ever, although I think Usyk has an uncommon tactical intelligence, both are capable of throwing very fast and effective combinations, both have a granite chin and excellent footwork. Perhaps Holyfield has more power and a much better chance of knocking out his opponent than Usyk. Consequently, the difference could be the greater versatility and adaptability to the opponent and the change of strategy on the part of Usyk and the power on the part of Holyfield. Who do you think would win?
Evan fields had 5 litres of pure synthetic steroids being pump around his body by his heart instead of blood. It wouldn’t be fair on usyk to be head butted and low blowed by a man with that much chemical in him.
He took steroids more or less like everyone else in those years with the difference that at least he had a deformation of the left ventricle which prevented the blood from reaching the heart to the muscles. The other instead were sound.
holyfield. the reason aj lacks the toughness and will that could have seen him beat usyk, is because God used it up on evander
Joshua is a 12 years old kid entrapped in the harmour of Ironman. He lacks toughness and tactical intelligence when he gets hurt
usyk is a pretty tough dude himself, just not on evanders level. but who is? aj doesnt have the ability to step outside his own head in a fight. he immediately starts to second guess himself when adversity hits. makes him indecisive in critical moments.
Holyfield is tougher, meaner, and more durable than AJ and Fury put together. There will be no in-ring confidence losses or panic attacks, no rag dolling, no showing up out of shape, no weakness to body shots, no weakness to uppercuts, no giving away rounds by showboating, etc. I'm not saying Usyk can't win -- he might very well pull it off. But it would be his hardest fight ever. I will say, the press conference would be the most boring one ever recorded. You can't take two polite true professionals and expect a good face-off.
Oh, fight for the ages this one. I'd expect Holyfield to be irresistible in this contest and win a clear but competitive decision against an out gunned but never outclassed Usyk. Evander's attributes cancel out Usyk's for me and he outworking and out punches a brilliant Usyk. Almost like Beterbiev v Bivol but with a clear winner...
Usyk boxes his butt nut and foot off Evander hasn't got a patch on him. Fury would box Evander's nut off also. Don't make Evander out to be more than he was...He is predictable to the top level guys and he does slow needing to close distance which on guys like Fury & Usyk would feel never ending. 100 year old static George Foreman easily handled fighting him. Take away his 10/10 toughness and pitch him against fighters who can move on you for 12 rounds he becomes a much lesser fighter.
50/50, but I lean to the guy who was a more prove heavyweight against better opposition Holyfield points in an extremely close fight
