That's so specific. One judge has it a draw the other each for one fighter. Crazy prediction. A close decision makes more sense. No offense intended.
It’s pretty difficult to envisage anything other than an Usyk victory via points against a prime Holyfield. This Usyk situation reminds me a lot of when Pacquiao jumped to the goldilocks zone at the time 147 pounds where he retained his speed and made the crop look foolish. I don’t think it’s sustainable.
Usyk outboxes him to a competitive yet comfortable UD. Holyfield would have his moments but the verdict would be clear. Usyk 116-112 type win
Styles make fights. Holyfield would be a nightmare for Usyk. Usyk had problems with Chisora, Holyfield would have caused much more problems, and also dirt would have been used like headbutt and lowblows.
If it turns into a tough guy contest then Holyfield wins. But I don't think Usyk would allow it. Becomes a high contact tactical boxing match. And Usyk wins that. Frazier and Tyson are tougher stylistic fights for Usyk than Holyfield is.
Why do people use the Chisora fight as an example? It was his first proper fight at HW, being only 212lbs and having both his hands broken early on in the fight and still winning 8-4. Maybe i should list you a list of average fighters that Holyfield struggled with...
These polls always happen after a nice win. But I pick prime Holyfield by a not so narrow decision (most likely) or late KO in a very nice fight, mainly due to his superior toughness and high work-rate. He was a better Usyk in my book, with more power.
I think Evander up through probably the 3rd Bowe fight (including HW or CW) beats Usyk. I think the Bowe 3 thru Lennox version of Evander is 50/50 with Usyk. He wouldn't be able to hurt or bully Evander. I think something regarding how good and tough to conquer prime Evander was has been lost in history. He was really hard to beat, Holyfield was IMO one of the most complete offensive specimens at HW ever
