Just read that this is supposed to happen 9th November in Oklahoma. I remember watching one fight literally a decade ago, where his balance was totally gone. Why is he still doing this?
Wasn't there always a narrative with Danny that he wasn't massively bothered about boxing and that he was doing it for his Dad and then later on in his career he was doing it pay for his kids to go to private school...
Breaks my heart, as people on here know Danny is my favourite fighter of all time. I didn't even know he was scheduled to fight again. I really pray that nothing bad happens to him and he can come to his senses and hang the gloves up for good. He loves boxing and he can still be a part of the sport, just not fighting. He would be an excellent coach, giving his expertise and advice to up and comers, training youngsters etc. He is such a likeable bloke and has years of experience so I'm sure it will go down well. How much does he earn from doing this, that he couldn't earn just doing a normal job? Loved him in his prime (although you never knew which Danny was going to turn up). Can't see a good ending to this, last fought last year according to Boxrec (L8)

Maybe low 5 figures in US dollar but no matter what the money this is just plain sad. I had to watch my brother beat him over 6 years ago and he had no balance then, Lee knew he struggled moving one of his legs so basically just kept him resetting his feet... I genuinely felt sorry for him and his family and tbh his kids should stepping up and telling him that enough is enough or he'll never be able to enjoy them or any grand kids etc
