True but there is audley Harrison’s and Frankie gavins out there who done well in amateurs but not on pro stage
It was neither of their faults. They were clinching.... Something that happens in ALL BOUTS. They just happen to go over the top of the ropes. No one is discussing who to blame. We are talking about the "injury".....is it legit or a cop out.
LOL.....yea, it's great that you aren't his advisor because that is THE DUMBEST approach to take going forward when it's the fans who help you to get the endorsements and/or sell tickets. Boxing is a sport, which makes it entertainment. If you aren't appealing to the fans, they aren't going to support you, thus you won't make the money you would like to make or feel you deserve for putting your life and health on the line in that ring. And again, your comprehension is still struggling. No one, or at least myself, didn't ask Whittaker for a thing. I said, "I need to see proof" that he didn't fake an injury for the sake of getting out of the bout. In situations like fans can stop supporting you because they feel you aren't a value to the sport because you are a quitter and/or afraid of real competition. No one is going to support you when scream about wanting to fight the top guys and that you are the best/greatest/etc.....when they see you are willing to not only quit but go through the extremes to come up with an excuse to get out of a competitive bout. Then the response to fans and/or media bringing it up is "go (explicit) yourselves"...... Even for the fact you are suggesting that's what he should do is downright ignorant. You need to grow up buddy. As an athlete and one that wants to be big time/worldly respected, he needs to understand that his name is a brand. No one gets behind a brand that tells people to do childish things like you suggested.
A Farce at least fought for a world title v Haye (albeit he barely threw a punch before getting ktfo). Bail Out Ben won't get anywhere near a world title.
He was getting beaten up and rocked by a non-puncher in Liam Cameron, panicked and pulled a quit job the moment the opportunity presented itself to him, that's a laughing stock. It's also harbinger for things to come, which will include being sparked with ease when he shares the ring with a puncher. Harrison getting brutally KO'd by David Price, David Haye and Deontay Wilder three pretty massive punchers, it's both understandable and forgivable. Understand the difference.

I only saw the highlights but Whitaker looks like he wastes too much energy and movement early, doesn't hit hard enough and will fade later in the fight. A bit like Josh Kelly. If you can't knock fighters out and you struggle to go 12 rounds you will obviously pick up a few blemishes in the pro game.
