Right! the dude literally works with a person who made designer PED's and we are to believe he is not cheating?
I've tried to explain this to folks. No one cares. Boxing is so corrupt you have people defending Victor Conte.
He was. A fighter's record is a matter of fact. Whether he *should have been* undefeated obviously is up for discussion and most people would say no, but in fact he was undefeated. The distinction in the Ryan fight is that he lost, but with an asterisk. So it's kind of a tricky question.
No he lost to Loma clearly and Garcia bullied the weight bully. The test findings of Garcia was so minimal it wouldn't if made that much of difference, and Haney conplaining about weight is laughable when he's bigger than a prime Marvin Hagler fighting against fighters he's 2 or 3 weightclasses bigger than.
As much as I enjoyed the fight, Garcia came in 3 pounds over the weight limit and got done for an illegal substance, of course the official result should be thrown out and be rendered obsolete. In saying that, I do think the drug testing process is open to corruption from rogue chemists.
I think he's very lucky that he doesn't have 2 official losses. That official "0" will be gone in the next 2 years though..............
I have no idea, it's such a weird situation. I'm one of the few who scored Loma Haney a legitimate draw, I would really have to squeeze in a round to give Loma the full win. Many people consider it an ass-whooping but I just saw Loma having great success in the mid-rounds, which was more visually appealing than Devin's success earlier on in the fight. Garcia should probably be banned for PEDs, but I just find that loss hilarious. The fighters, the buildup, the fight, there's no way I can take any part of that situation seriously
Yeah but Garcia tested positively to an illegal substance which is banned under boxing regulations. How is that comparable to OJ Simpson not killing anybody?
In all seriousness mate you can take Ryan Garcia testing positive for miniscule amounts of Ostarine to mean whatever you want it to mean. If you think it caused Devin Haney to be be rocked and knocked down multiple times, in comparison to Devin Haney winning the fight vs a clean Ryan Garcia, then all the power to you. Personally I don't know if Ryan Garcia intended to cheat in the run up to the fight with Haney, but what I do know is the miniscule amount of Ostarine he popped for wouldn't have made an iota of difference in the actual fight.
