He barley got passed the jab all night. Definitely couldn't land one of his own for toffee. It's very much a performance that has been rewritten or warped because of round 8

 

Was there live lads.. the kid is special.. his handspeed is as fast as Amir Khan but he so much more composed than him .. Adam Azim going to the top ..

I like Azim he does remind me of a younger Khan in some ways lets hope his chin is better if it is he beats Dalton Smith every day of the week for me.
Smith has been in with no one so far Zepeda is 35 and on the way out and was never that good in the first place that's his stand out win all the rest are nobodies.

 

Missed most of that,was it a fair decision?

 

Timing beats speed and Dalton has good timing, it's his best asset.

 

Not for me. Was a scrappy fight with not a lot of action but I thought Azeez had the better of it and especially with the points deduction should have got the nod.

 

Have you had a close inspection of his chin - is it made of steel or glass?

Khan was a very highly skilled boxer as well but as we know, he hit the floor quicker than a tart's knickers when hit.

 

I think Azim v Smith would be a better fight than Eubank v Benn or Yarde v Bautsi. It wouldn't get the same publicity as those but would be a better fight imo.

 

That's more or less how I seen it as well.

If the punch resistance of Azim is very good, he will be very difficult to beat and I think Dalton Smith would be a very good fight next for both of them.

Azim would win for me if that chin is not made of the same substandard glass found on Amir Khan.

 

Definitely, the chin has to be good .. still not 100% been tested but Adam's natural instincts are of a defence first approach and tries to counter or lead off the jab.. I liked how he started to double the jab up in the later rounds and set Ohara up for the ending ..

That approach of defence first sets him different to Amir Khan who's defence was always not that great ..

 

I thought Azeez won that, I wonder If Edmondson seen as a route back for Whittaker, slow paced chess match a style its hard to see him losing to. Strange for house fighter to lose a fight 90% thought he won

 

I thought that…or as fodder for Yarde. Either way can see why Edmondson hasn’t got big fights before now, not a fan friendly style.
