Tszyu went full kamikaze. He bought some respect back and could have saw the second round out without being dropped again but he opted to keep slugging. Too brave for his own good. Charlo definitely doesn't want that smoke. He ducked Tszyu.

The FBI needs to do a full investigation into boxing corruption. They won't have to dig deep.

If you listen to some of Tim's more recent interviews, he had definitely gotten full of himself. I'm not saying he is bad guy. I like him but he was reading his own headlines, there is no doubt about that.

Yep. And that is a lesson he could have learned from his father.

Kostya never did that. He let his hands do the talking.

I remember that now you mention it

Funny thing is I said to myself during the fight that he reminded me a little of Kovalev. Just the way he threw vicious sharp shots and counters. The sound of of his shots. I was watching on my phone so I couldn't make it out clearly but it looked like he dropped Tszyu with that Kovalev type jab for one of the KDs too.

I just told my friend that **** really shouldn't be allowed in boxing. Obviously it didn't matter here, but it's bought fighters extra time in fights they were on the cusp of losing(Wilder/Ortiz I comes to mind)

Yeah, i thought it was a risky strategy as soon as I heard the crack in Murtazaliev"s shots and how clean he was landing. Tszyu can punch too of course and I think he may well have had a significant weight advantage and I think he knew that too and it lead him into a false sense of security that he was going to come out on top if they traded

He can still make the fight with Thurman although with not much of a payday involved I'd doubt that Thurman would still be up for it. Maybe a rematch with Fundora at some point next year and he can slowly attempt to climb the ranks again.

Fundora doesn’t need the Tszyu fight anymore. It does nothing for him right now.

I don't think Fundora is legit. I think he gets stopped by Murtazaliev.

I have to say I like the way they moved the card along—no dilly-dallying like we see in Riyadh. Kind of nice to have the fights done by 11 instead getting bleary-eyed waiting for fights to start and running until 1 am.

    Tszyu struggles with adapting.

The 'bull at a gate warrior' approach works for him 99% of the time. When he's forced to adapt and change the game plan, he doesn't seem to be able to. The first time was the cut he suffered against Fundora, he should have told the ref and his corner he couldn't see prior to the end of round 4 and the fight would have been stopped. Instead, he chose to fight like a warrior and overcome a situation that was impossible to overcome.

The second time was this fight, he was dropped hard, his response was to keep ploughing forward, he was dropped hard a second time, his response was to keep ploughing forward, he got dropped hard a third time, his response was to keep ploughing forward, he got dropped hard a fourth time, his response was to keep ploughing forward.....
