    Rubbish.

He generates his power only when fully extending the right, leaving him exposed. A REAL puncher is a guy like Foreman who can crush you with the short punches.

Also, notice how his power drops as his level of competition increases. He couldn't even legit knock out Duhapuas.

He's got excellent power, but not top tier at all.

    POST SCRIPT:
What was his success at heavyweight? Who were the best wins, again?

Price knocked joshua out in sparring, he has an even worse chin than aj and just got smashed early on. That's the only difference between the two

Price had such a bad gas tank that it’s like he had a medical condition after round four.

There are a hundred ways to skin a cat. I don't care how he did it, it translated into him being the hardest puncher of his generation, at the very least. And by the way, his trainer got a hernia that required surgery from a short right to the body from Deontay. And Deas was wearing a bodysuit. All his opponents who care to talk, and especially his training partners attest to this next level power. So, I'm just going to take their word, and the word of his KO record, for it.

You can nitpick anyone, from Joe Louis to Foreman. George couldn't KO oft-stopped Alex Stewart and got bruised up in the process. Does that help us understand his true power? Didn't think so.

I know its fun to be the contrarian but sometimes it just sounds stupid. Deontay didn't have much but what he did have was power, in spades.

    Anthony Joshua

    Definition of manufactured.

Any heavyweight with a punch and a set of balls can take him. God forbid they have a punch, set of balls and some skill.

There's a few at different levels imo

Loma was hyped as the next goat.
Zoo was hyped as a future p4p fighter.
Price was hyped as a future champ.

He was hyped hard when he beat Matthysse but forgotten immediately when Crawford beat him. Wanted to add him just for that but there's better answers.

Mikey dominated multiple weight classes, he was def p4p worthy and a special talent. Def not overrated.
