Qawi annihilates Haye. Haye was out of gas vs a 40 year old Carl Thompson after 3 rounds and was put through hell vs another shorter pressure fighter in Frogomeni who is not in Qawi's class. No way Haye could deal with the relentless pressure of Qawi.
Qawi would have a field day. Haye's powerful overhand right doesn't mean **** if you can't land it and Qawi was a guy that would take that power away. Just watch Qawi vs Michael Spinks and you will see how much success Qawi had navigating the Spinks Jinx. Spinks had to win on the outside with his jab and footwork which is something that Haye really didn't have.
He was also down & in serious trouble vs. Mormeck, who is, @ best, a poor man's Qawi. IMO, Haye is overrated @ CW, despite unifying the titles - his chin & stamina were just too suspect @that weight. I think he was a better fighter up @HW, even if people mainly remember him for his track meet vs. Wlad.
