Earnie Shavers vs Tony Galento primes

I don’t know but I want to be there for the brief time it lasts …

 

Would be exciting. I’m just about on Galento here for his far superior durability, but it’s a tough one.

 

I see Two Ton pulling off the upset with his dirty style and stench, prime showerless Galento is a H2H menace

 

2 Ton is more proven ain’t he? Better in pretty much every regard right?

 

Shavers would knock the living daylight s out of Galento.

 

Tough call,i'd go with Earnie.Shavers by KO.

 

Galento is way too easy to hit against someone like the Acorn.

 

Galento and Tua had lots in common. Similar styles, similar punching power, iron chins.

 

Tua’s the Walmart version of Galento

 

Galento lasted 4 rounds vs a prime Louis and dropped him. Shavers was stopped in 1 by Quarry.

 

Shavers actually learned to be a disciplined boxer as his career went on and to guard his gas tank. He was 100x the athlete Galento was. Tony was there to get hit all night long. And you can't get hit by Shavers more than a few times, let alone all night long.

Earnie sleeps him early.

 

Shavers wasn’t, “100x the athlete” my mother was.

 

On the face of it Shavers ought to knock his block off. However, in real life, these big, fat. dirty and durable guys can pull off stuff that you don't expect. If Galento can turn it into a wrestling, mauling match where Shavers is denied the leverage to land his nukes ... who knows? Certainly I think 2 ton had the durability to survive anything but a flush Shavers shot. 60-40 to Shavers in my (rough) estimation.
