Bob is talking about it being in the next Riyadh season.

if it happens then, do they both take fights beforehand.

Beterbiev could do mandatory to keep all of the belts?

A year between rematches for a 39 year old, who will be nearing 41 by then, is horrible mismanagement by Arturs team.

pfft. thats another way of saying it aint happening. i dont blame beves team, they knows he got outboxed. beve should just fight canelo, secure the lotto prize, then deal with bivol. bivol will still be there.

I think it's purely big money talking here man. Not sure they have much of a say in the matter.

Lol, these 'alpha male' warriors are absolutely dominated by the playboy 'princes' of Arabia.
A year for the rematch just because of the Arab's cultural schedule and everyone bows.
I'm sorry, is boxing an Arab sport only possible to exhibit in the desert?
Do top fighters now need permission from Arabia to have rematches and are told when and where it will all take place?
Will they lose the fight if they don't grovel and answer with 'his excellency' (non ironically)?

Beterbiev should be fighting the 2 interim champs and if after that Bivol is still there then maybe Beterbiev should rematch him. Bivol is the option the age gap is smallest. If Beterbiev hurrys maybe just maybe he can retire a nice 25-0.

How much less is Benavidez/Morrell or Buatsi going to be than a Bivol rematch?

He should not take that mandatory in the name of remaining undisputed which is a useless superlative once you're recognized as "the" champ. Let Eifert fight someone else for the belt then retake it if its an appealing fight.

Let's hope Beterbiev doesn't get injured again. Every camp/fight is a huge risk for him at this point.

Why would fans or Beterbiev wait for that ?

We want action before he retires, vacate all the belts and move up, beat winner of Zurdo vs Bellam Smith.

Nah, Beterbiev should just move up. Nobody at light heavyweight left, plus he's getting old it's now or never

They will get at least $10M each for the rematch. Neither of them can get that big amount from another fight. They will definitely fight each other next year.

Depends on the money. Remember that Artur is after more than an unbeaten record, if hte offer is right then the management is good.

Christ, there will be even more question marks around Beterbiev by then, regarding his age and injuries. I’d imagine it’s good for Bivol, not so much for Arthur. Can’t see the LHW division being particularly exciting over the next 12 months if this is true, it’ll just be Bivol and Beterbiev making easy work of the next two best guys in the division. What a waste of time.

I had Bivol winning the first fight, I like him in the rematch too. The more it delays, the more it favors the younger guy.

I wish Beterbiev had the mindset to say "**** this", attend Usyk/Fury 2 and challenge his amateur rival right there in the ring for a fight for the P4P supremacy should the latter be succesful in the rematch.
