Suslenkov doubling his jab before walloping down with a right hand, backing Ciocan around the ring.

    50-45

    Hammer giving Chauncy Welliver vibes.

    60-54

Two rounds left for the Romanian-German to pull off a miracle KO...but the last time he stopped anybody with a positive record, it was Saul Farah, pre-pandemic. The last time he stopped anybody ranked was the previously unbeaten Michael Wallisch a year before that, in December of 2018.

Sussy boy throwing the kitchen sink at him but Ciocan - despite his face being marked up and his gas tank running on almost E for several rounds - isn't going anywhere.

    80-72 Suslenkov

The commentators each say "Bravo" - presumably to Ciocan for making it the distance. Agreed, but he should retire. He's never regaining his world-rated contender form, and pushing 40 and stuck at upwards of 300lbs, he's just going to get beaten up moving forward and risk brain damage. It'd almost be a mercy for him to have a worse chin, in these situations.

8-0 Suslenkov but a bit of a laborious performance from him; he was getting touched up a surprising amount by Hammer.

    Official cards:

...in Russian x3 but we can likely assume shutout in triplicate

    UD for Suslenkov

While that performance will not impress anyone, it's probably worth remembering that one does not simply stop Hammer - rather, he decides to go home at some point, or the referee gets PTSD and calls it.

Not super familiar with either of the guys coming up. I've heard of Gleison Tibau, at least...think he was in UFC for a long time. He is 39-19 in pro MMA. "The Crushin' Russian" Vasilevsky is 36-9 in that sport but in pro boxing is 1-0 (and Tibau is making his debut here).
